ProsThe best part about working at Clarkston is the culture. Your co-workers become family whether you work in operations, consulting, or upper management. The work is challenging and rewarding and management genuinely cares about growing your skill set and your career.

ConsClarkston is a smaller organization so you have to be willing to wear a lot of hats and be flexible.

Small consulting firm with great culture and values!

Consultant (Current Employee)

I have been working at Clarkston Consulting full-time

ProsThis is a great niche consulting firm to work for if you are interested in building expertise in the Consumer Products or Life Science industries. The company culture is laid back and upper management is very accessible. The firm is invested in its employees and there are plenty of training and growth opportunities. The firm takes great pride in providing excellent customer service to its clients.

Cons-Not the place to be if you are not interested in Consumer Products or Life Sciences.
-Travel can be up to 100% which is typical in the consulting industry.

Great culture, commitment to brilliant client service and employee development

Associate Consultant (Current Employee)
Los Angeles, CA

I have been working at Clarkston Consulting full-time for less than a year

ProsClarkston has deep industry experience and successfully executes complex projects with a variety of clients, including some of the largest consumer products and life sciences companies. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and fun. In my time here, Clarkston's management has demonstrated its committed to employee development and training, and the well being of its employees (work/life balance). Because of the firm's structure and approach, even entry-level consultants have the opportunity (and are expected) to contribute meaningfully to projects from the get go, which has really helped me to develop my skills and grow professionally.

ConsOutside of the consulting, consumer products, and life sciences industries, Clarkston is not always well known--but that is not reflective of the firm's success or reputation among clients and peers. Travel can be demanding at times, though that is standard for consulting.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to expand Clarkston's name-recognition.
