I have been working at Cleveland Clinic full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Salary is good, decent benefits and for the most part a good company

    Cons

Poor Human Resource personnel who allow Supervision and management to bully and create a hostile work environment with no intervention or recourse to the employee. Therefore losing longevity and excellent employees

I worked at Cleveland Clinic full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Positive environment. Great health benefits. Tuition reimbursement was amazing. However, I heard it was drastically reduced in the last couple of years.

    Cons

A lot of time is wasted on the politics and therefore things don't get done as quickly. Pay was low compared to the market. However, I couldn’t complain because I did not have a lot of experience coming into the job. Parking was horrible and expensive. I worked on the main campus which is not easily accessible coming in from the east side.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Promote within.

I have been working at Cleveland Clinic full-time

    Pros

Great Benefits Package, Flexible Hours, Great Reputation. Excellent Location, Opportunities for advancement. Great employee experience programs. Fast Paced environment.

    Cons

Horrible Attendance Policy, Below Market pay, management is constantly hovering over you, horrible parking at main campus, employees $35 a pay just to park on campus. They expect you to stand for 12 hours straight.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better attendance policy, give employees room to do their job without hovering over them like a mother hen.

I have been working at Cleveland Clinic full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

It is known for it's outstanding reputation in Medicine. There are great opportunities for new RNs or anyone else for that matter. Employees can learn and grow in the system.

    Cons

They have reduced new RN pay to a ridiculously low rate and they expect new grads to study at home to learn more. Studying at home would be fine if they were being compensated for the additional time/money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make it so the new hires want to stay and work hard to continue with the "Cleveland Clinic".
