    Pros

If you can get on their good side it can be a real boon since they will give you a lot of responsibility and promotions.

    Cons

Senior managers tend to do whatever the head of the office says, even if unethical.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop using intimidation and favoritism to make policies and promotions.

    Pros

you have a job.. thats all.

    Cons

Highly unstructured. Unprofessional.. and managers are irresponsible. They have no idea what is going on in the project.. your work depends on your immediate contact or supervisor who could be a junior programer who know nothing about managing and delegating work. Biased towards male workers.

Managers are arrogant. Talk only with other managers. They walk past you even after you greet them.

    Pros

Nothing I can think of.. sorry :(

    Cons

It was good before but talented resources are leaving and thereby leaving company with crappy developers and managers.
Brings new resources to team and management will make them Team Leads, Managers etc without having proper business, technical knowledge on assigned areas.

I worked at Client Network Services

    Pros

Mid size company with small size focus. Very MMIS customer focussed.

    Cons

    Too narrow focus.
Will not take a stand if customer is wrong.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow growth of the people from outside. The Management is too crowded with people who have no outside CNSI experience.

    Very smart technical staff

    Cons

Budget cuts so will set you up to be fired instead of layoffs

Management is very confused about how to go about daily operations
    Bad press for mismanagement
Management is NOT technical at all
Massive paycuts, furloughs, and no pay raises

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

They believe in socializing among themselves.

    Cons

Company caters to east Indians because they request rock-bottom salaries, they are controlled with Visas and do not hear, speak or do no evil. They hire only white management to shield their India and Pakistan descent to get Federal contracts. They do not promote blacks unless they are in trouble with EEOC.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be open culturally.

    Pros

    decent pay
    health insurance was ok

    Cons

    very little communication
benefits are not as good as they look (ie: looks like they match up to 6% with 401K, what they really do is match 6% of the 6% or .36%!!)

I worked at Client Network Services

    Pros

The work is groundbreaking and the employees are excellent. Employees are proud of their work and are very committed. There is definitely a family feel here. Working at home on occasion is not usually an issue (due to weather, child care, etc.).

    Cons

The Indian cultural difference is used as an excuse for the horrible communication among managers and employees; therefore, nothing is ever done to try to fix the problem. Women are not held in high regard as employees unless they have nice legs and/or wear high heels/skirts. Mid-management attempts to rule by fear and intimidation. When people leave the company, no announcements are ever made to the staff, regardless of the reason why the person left. HR is inadequate: they ask the group of employees to come forward with issues with management in the room. No real connection with senior management. No room for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate changes in staff so other employees know what is going on and why. Manage the middle management, they need a lot of help!
