    I have been working at Clinipace full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    My immediate project teams are excellent and supportive. My colleagues are supportive of work/life balance. My project managers and supervisor are flexible and respect time off. The compensation is equivalent to other companies in the industry. Overall, I enjoy the daily interactions with my study teams. There is room for growth both within my current role and potential growth in new positions within the company.

    Cons

    Continued improvement in the monitoring processes is needed as the CRO portion of the company continues to grow. The growth within the company seems to be outpacing the infrastructure.

    Difficulties due to different systems (prior company mergers), weak data management area

    Pros

    Some departments allow partial or full work from home.

    Cons

    Very poor communication from management. Very little appreciation from management.
    Little or no training provided. Very little process documentation available.
    Overall poor work environment. New employees are given new projects with little training or support from management and then criticized for not performing well.
    Although there are work from home opportunities, it is expected that employees work well into their evenings and weekends. There is very little appreciation for employees that put in the extra time or make the extra effort.
    Input from employees is not listened to or taken seriously.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Adjust your expectations and show more appreciation. Respect the need for a work-life balance. Start listening to employees that have years of industry experience.

    There was free coffee available.

    Cons

    They're a software company turned CRO. They had a novel piece of software until the market caught up and outpaced them. I don't think they really know what to do.

    Pros

    Receiving payment.
    Although, as it was stipulated that it be direct deposit there was no physical paycheck and once i left the company access to payment records was difficult. If you do consent to work at this company, I recommend you do better than I in ensuring access to your records after your tenure.

    Cons

    Management was capricious.
    The EDC "system" used, and touted, by this company is homegrown and is cumbersome and problematic for all concerned: the employees, the site users, and the client users.
    This is a young company: while it's founders wish it to grow, they do not take counsel from employees who have many years experience in the business. This is manifest in the persistent presence of, and power given, to people with little industry experience due to the mere virtue of them having been with the company since inception.
    Those people who do stay tend to be those who are fawning, yes men/women to the their titular superiors, even when they know them misguided.

    Listen to, and respect the opinion of, personnel with industry experience elsewhere.

    Pros

    Very causal laid back office that really puts value into the people they bring on board. Also virtually everyone has "green" days in which you can just telecommute into the office.

    Cons

    They don't currently offer matching to their 401k program, but they are hoping to offer that soon!

    Pros

    Cannnot really think of pros other than getting a paycheck.

    Cons

    Too many cons. I have never seen a worse company than this in my 20 years of experience. Stay away from this company if you can. Too chaotic. The team of project analysts are completely incompetent, To cover it up they create politics.
    They pretend to give you work life balance by offering work from home but they actually micro manage you when you do work from home.
    Incompetent people stay here and the good ones leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Open your eyes and look at all levels of the organization. See how unhappy most people here are which in turn affects the quality of work.

    To many to list was not a pleasant place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Even though they suppose to say they understand about family and your health, that they really don't care. Do not tell you're sick they really don't care and they don't do raises nor promotions unless you are someone they want to have it.

    Good salary
    Nice people in the office
    Lots of good experience gained
    Excellent Line manager support

    Cons

    Poor benefits
    Workload can get tough - but it is expected from a small CRO
    Snr Management need to support its employees especially when dealing with difficult Sponsor

    Listen to the needs to your employees as they do the brunt of the work
