    Pros

The people are the best bit - a strong culture and values in the business. The company is small enough that you feel you can make a difference. They recognise strong performance and support career development in those with potential. Lots of change happening but I think that's positive.

    Cons

Feels a bit behind the times in terms of some of the technology and internal systems.

    Advice to Management

I think our culture is our key differentiator and we need to maintain that.

I have been working at Close Brothers full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everyone I worked with had a great work ethic. It's a sociable company and the senior managers take the time to understand your needs. The bank has changed a lot over the past 3 years and from that there have been a number of great opportunities. There are number good examples of people succeeding at Close Brothers

    Cons

Its a very traditional bank, you have to wear suit and tie everyday. Its not the most cutting edge company if you want to work in banking or finance.

    Advice to Management

I think its a great company to work for and i would recommend working at Close Brothers to other people.
