    Pros

Co-workers are good for the most part and weekends are your own

    Cons

The company is an Australian based company and majority owned by the motoring club in Australia. Decisions are from the senior management and two of the founding brothers that still control the company down under. The United Stated is a very different market and that is where the problems start to occur.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a group well-educated American to run the show, pay them well and don't intervene with half-baked ideals that don’t drive the business long term. This is about sustainability not the short term. Treat your employees as if you want to keep them long term.

    Pros

Great company to gain global experience. Enjoyed the experiences.

    Cons

Business expects vast amount of IT output on a small budget, and doesn't allocate resources to enable IT to become a revenue generator, or business enabler.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

IT shouldn't be viewed as an expense. With proper management visionaries in place, IT products can position an organization more competitively and improve business efficiency to help it adjust its business offering to reduce manual overhead. Remember to appreciate your employees. Team events and employee recognition goes further than top end salaries.
