I worked at Club Colors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You'll meet some good colleagues with good intentions, none of the good people will be management. Depending on what accounts you have, you may have some interesting things to work on. If you are a new person, don't expect good accounts, you'll get the left-overs no one else wants to work. Or you may get accounts that another rep who just quit had if you're lucky.

    Cons

So if you take the plunge (down the toilet you'll go) and decide against all warnings to work here, (this goes for prospective customers as well if you decide to work with Club Colors--BE WARNED!), you are making a bad decision. There are plenty of other well-run companies to gain experience with or to seek products from. Where to even begin? Let's start with the train wreck, and that's MANAGEMENT. You will not find one qualified or dignified human being in management, but you will find lies, cheats, scandals, cover-ups, and downright manipulation so that anyone beneath management is consistently called out as the problem so management can look good to the board. Be prepared to be lied to and strung along by management daily. Be prepared to work for people who couldn't cut it in the real world, have no valuable skills-other than lying, have no real contributions, and who pretend to the board to make themselves look good, and it's all done through lies and master manipulation of the reps who take the fall for the bad decisions from management. Also as a rep, be prepared to lie to your customers when your orders fall apart also as a result of bad management decisions. There is total lack of respect for human rights on so many levels. Management continually changes the rules and introduces new procedures even before last weeks procedures have even taken into affect, so there is no winning here. They operate on a budget deficit continually and have never been all that profitable, so who will take the fall, the account reps, that's who. And account reps, you will not be given proper training or tools, you will be given misdirection, or watch as others are played favorites-given better accounts for no apparent reason--like throwing darts at a board and watching where they land, rampant sexism and objectification abound here too. And through it all, you will be given a quota where the targets always change so you don't have to get paid a decent commission. So, bad accounts, ruined accounts, plus terrible quotas that make no sense = NO COMMISSIONS. ****AND IGNORE 4 STAR GLEAMING REVIEWS AS THEY ARE PLANTED BY A TROLL.

    Advice to Management

None, they wouldn't know what to do with advice anyway, would probably take credit for good advice like it came from them and passed that off in their "meetings" as their own, that's what they do best.

I worked at Club Colors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The office is close to several local bars. This is key, because working here will drive you to drink. Heavily.

    Cons

horrible benefits empty promises no transparency no growth poor business decisions inappropriate behavior and constant abuse by leadership The company doesn't believe in HR, so there is no one to voice valid complaints with The office is dirty. It is full of mold and has a constantly overflowing ashtray right outside the main door. Positions are constantly eliminated Very high turnover

    Advice to Management

None. There is nothing to be salvaged here.

I have been working at Club Colors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been with Club Colors for over a year now. I have seen this company really grow. There are many perks to working here. They give many opportunities to really grow and make money.

    Cons

they have the basic benefits. Wish there was 401K matching.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. We are doing it right! The culture is very positive and exciting.

  7. Work Hard / Play Hard

    Pros

Club Colors has come a long way and is really growing in the right direction. You will get whatever you put into the job, and if you work hard you will reap the benefits. It has a fast paced and high energy environment with a very diverse and fun loving staff. They offer many incentives throughout the year and a generous commission structure. It is not your typical sales role; it is building and maintaining a pipeline of customer relationships. I would recommend this position to anyone with a work hard - play hard mentality and someone who is ready to think outside the box for long term growth and success.

    Cons

The job can be stressful during busy season and may require you to work a few extra hours in the office per week, but is nothing unmanageable.

I worked at Club Colors full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Coworkers and seeing end product created

    Cons

Clearly CC management saw what people were saying and planted reviews. Creates environment of finger pointing, micromanagement, favoritism, lack of respect, complete boys club with no form of respect to women.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees. Don't hire anyone off the street.

This company offers brand management services in the promotional products industry, mainly in the corporate and collegiate markets. It has a very open, friendly work environment and a diverse staff.

    Cons

I worked at Club Colors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work/Life balance is good. Your typical office 9am-5pm. Other associates are pretty nice , down to earth - (non-management)

    Cons

Insane Turn-Over Rate During my 6th months there , I have seen over 20 people come and go Management has absolutely no direction , no business plan Management misleads you about career growth and earning potential Company offers 0 benefits , none , even though they say they do. (No match on 401k) Very weak base pay , the amount of work you have to put it doesn't make it worth it Favoritism runs wild through out the office I have seen people get fired for no reason (On the spot) Its basically a telemarketing job. Expect to make over 80 calls a day. If management sees you are only making around 20 calls a day , they will fire you.

    Advice to Management

If you want to grow a successful business ,Club Colors needs to value its employees , which they do not at all. Club Colors also needs a serious and thought out business plan - otherwise I do not see this company lasting much longer.
