I worked at Coach USA full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Company has a great & successful concept. They employ good employees. They pay a decent hourly rate.

    Cons

Upper level management is aloof; mid level management have no people skills, are reactionary, disjointed, non-communicative, & not-listening to concerns of employees and they are slow to react to issues important to the company's face- the drivers. Company provides no stability for its drivers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Executive management: Stop being so cheap with everything. Also, work on corporate communication skills ( Americans drivers don't care a hoot about how great your European organization is doing or how well you treat your European drivers). Spend some money and train your middle managers. You will never stop having such a high turnover rate until you hire the right middle management teams .This isn't Scotland or Europe.

I worked at Coach USA as an intern (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Was able to work with different teams while interning there

    Cons

It was unpleasant interning there, mainly fixed closets and organized file cabinets

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Interns are there to learn, not to clean up everyone's mess

I worked at Coach USA full-time

    Pros

Second shift, you are your own boss. Making everything run smooth, so all passengers get home on time. Always being busy makes time go fast

    Cons

Passengers blaming you when the busses are late when it is beyond your control. (breakdowns, traffic, weather, accidents) Blaming you for bus leaving early when they left on time. Missing there bus is somehow your fault.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get more involved with day to day activity in the Field, times have changed.
Look at workers suggestions and input.
