Pros

The people are easy to get along with, there is no drama in the office and the chain of command is very clear. They provide lunch on fridays. They are a very family oriented company and allow your time off as necessary to take care of your children for various reasons. They do not micro manage. The dress code is relaxed. Very quiet and calm environment. Mostly Christain atmoshpere. The pool of knowledge is infinite. When you leave here you will definately come out better than when you went in. Increasing your pay if you were to move on to another company.

Cons

The pay at Coal Software is very low for the type of job that you are expected to perform. The training is not what it needs to be. A new employee kind of lingers until a small task is available for them to do. Makes me feel guilty as if I am ripping off the company because I have not been trained well enough to provide what I was hired to do. There needs to be one on one training for every aspect of all the software that is created by the company. If I had to make one change it would be the training methods. I can live with the pay.

Step up your training methods and provide someone to actually train.
