Great company to enhance resume with.

Account Manager (Former Employee) Kansas City, MO

ProsFortune 500 company that carries weight on a resume. Set your own schedule.

ConsBelow average pay in spite of company being an industry leader

Advice to Senior ManagementIncrease pay promote from within rather than hiring outside the company so often

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

It's very physically demanding and different managers are constantly hounding you.

Part-time Merchandiser (Current Employee) Cleveland, OH

ProsThe pay is decent. You also get paid for gas mileage.

ConsIt's extremely physically demanding. You'll end up having back problems in time. I don't care if you lift with your legs and 100% properly. But, when you're throwing around cases of water weight all day, it takes a toll on your back. Account managers and your merchandising manager will constantly be all over you. You forget to take out one little item, and you'll get emails and phone calls. You have a company phone and it's almost as if you're on call your entire life. Sometimes you work so hard, non-stop, and your manager criticizes you for it. All together, it's just completely ridiculous.

Advice to Senior ManagementSome of management is alright. It all depends. But, if you have a bad one, your life is miserable.

    Fortune 500 Best

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsConsumer satisfaction of its products and its service to the community. Employee benefits are calculated to be competitive and serve their employees long term.

ConsInternal politics as experienced by large Fortune 500 companies.

Advice to Senior ManagementCoca-Cola Corporate....Go back to the Old Coke ways....Integrate today's technology with the old face to face way of doing business. On the Street! You can't let the Bottler do it their Way...sometimes.

Great Place to Work......#1 Brand Name in the World!!!

    Technician (Current Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsGood Salary and benefits. Working for the #1 brand name in the world. You get a great sense of pride working for such a great company. Great opportunity for advancement.

ConsSometimes its hard to get promoted, although you have all of the relevant experience and education requirements. Depending on the role, you could potentially have a non-favorable work life balance.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease do a better job of trying to promote from within and ensure that company management practices equality (not favoritism), in regards to hiring decisions and overall treatment of team members.

    Smart People. Great Experience

    Communications (Former Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsI always worked with smart people who for the most part were passionate about their job. Great place to learn branding and marketing, even if you are not in that primary role. Working at the AOC, there was always an educational or entertaining event. Great time off benefits, onsite gym and onsite medical.

ConsIt was hard to advance your career due to the flat organizational structures. There is definitely a lot of politics, especially by people who were trying to continually prove their worth in order to keep their jobs.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe company will is at risk for change fatigue. Let people keep their jobs for a while.

    Great Company!

Market Development Manager (Current Employee) Lexington-Fayette, KY

ProsNo micro-management, create your own schedule, supportive management, lots of room for advancement and career development under the right manager, and the best part of all... no one ever leaves Coca-Cola for the most part. That says a lot about a company! There's not much competition with Coca-Cola other than Pepsi and in the sales field you either share the space or the customer wants one or the other... It's a no brainer.

ConsHands on learning style with a feel your way through as you go kind of setting when it comes to sales.

Respected company, challenging work, growth opportunities availalbe

Project Manager (Current Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsThis is a large company with very competitive compensation. Being a large company, there is always room for job and career growth. The Coca-Cola company and brand name draws positive attention externally.

ConsThe company continues to push the limits of work/life balance. There is a large amount of bureaucracy, but that can be expected in such a large, corporate environment.
