Start Up Companies Run More Efficiently

    Supervisor (Former Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsIt's neat to say you work for Coca-Cola.
    Good vacation time to start.

ConsHighly Disorganized - the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing.
Very Cheap - they may as well use the same technology they used 125 years ago when the company was founded.
NO work/life balance - the requirement is a MINIMUM is 50 hours a week.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe worst manager I have ever had - when the company merged they brought all the sales people over into supply chain positions, my manager couldn't tell you one thing about my job. Maybe it helps that he is a pathological liar.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop making promises you don't plan on keeping.

    One small step above unemployment

    Market Development Manager (Current Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

    ProsYou get a pay check
You have the benefits of working for a large corporation
You can say you work for Coke
Working in the field has its advantages

    ConsYou are managed by fear
Sit and wait in line for years and years to MAYBE be promoted to a lame middle manager job
    Higher educated not valued
    Nepotism rampant
Countless impossible "goals" and you will constantly be slapped on the wrist and eventually written up for not achieving everything all the time
We are hired because we have personality and can speak, but consider your voice as good as silenced when it comes to company communication
Pay is barely enough to pay the bills in a major city

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you would sit down and have honest conversation with the people who actually operate the business (sales people/drivers) then it will be obvious how improvements can be made. 90% of CCR management is old blood carrying on via nepotism and I would be shocked if they actually did anything real to help the company and its people.

    Exciting place to work for

    Administrative Assistant II (Current Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsSimple office work, free tickets to various events, building up your experience, and friendly staff

ConsIf you're a contract worker make sure that you have letters of recommendations from the manager and/or director before your position is about to be terminated.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you have a good contract worker, let he or she try for a permanent position before persuading to encouraging external applicants.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
