I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

In the Deductions Department, you could take breaks whenever you needed and walks around the building. The job is very sedentary and supervisors recognize that you need to move around. In my department you we had flex hours, so you could choose what time you wanted to work as long as it was between 6am and 6pm.

    Cons

You only get 10 strikes (late for work, call out, missed a punch) and you are fired! They do not put up with life situations. Your supervisor has some latitude, but not much. Supervisors are closely watched for compliance, which means, they don't have too much movement to be lenient.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would advise management to re-evaluate their time clock policies. Too many good people get fired because their missed punches and lateness add up over the year. If someone is late, they should just be able to make it up that day. Coca-Cola makes a big deal about how flexible they are and how they promote a good life/work balance, but it is really not true.
