I worked at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The company offers 401k and a pension plan. There are many resources readily available to help you with your sales calls.

    Cons

You have to regularly use your personal vehicle to transport signs and racks. Unless you have time to visit the sales center regularly, be prepared to have space at home or in your vehicle to store signage. There are a lot of accounts to complete in a day, not to mention set up the racks and put up displays on a regular basis. Your day never ends at your last stop. Hours are usually long. Do not recommend to single parents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are going to increase the expectations and the workload, then you should increase the pay.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Everyone at this company performs poorly, so all you have to do is show up and be a warm body! If you are a "person of diversity" like myself, you will never get fired! Enjoy the spoils! Sure you will have to hear about numbers, BD&L, ect, but who cares! I get 3 weeks vacation, and I can come and go as I please. I usually never touch a bottle!

    Cons

The pay is terrible for the amount of work. In the beginning I actually tried to do a good job, but there is way too much to do. So I did what everyone else does, just say Screw it! Lie about your displays, calls and ect. As long as the product shows up who cares!

You have to tear up your own car and the reimbursement is a joke.

Management is fake. they make sure that you are unable to attain your bonus. you will end up working for base salary only. 40k a year is pathetic.

The culture at the sales center level is immature, petty, and clickish. Management talks about employees behind their back. Seriously, its like high school here

This is just a paycheck. If you want to work in a professional environment don't come here. The only bright spot is that it looks good on a resume.

I can't get out if this joke of a company fast enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell the company to someone who actually wants to grow a company and retain employees.

Get rid of these idiots in Management at the Wichita sales center. They are totally out of control.

    Pros

stable company, great coworkers. free on site beverages and a household brand name.

    Cons

archaic working style, antiquated systems, and a focus around outdated management styles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

engage teams in more personal relationships and build up more teamwork. everything is very stagnated and inefficient, often people duplicate the exact same work repeatedly.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great brand, reputation of the company locally for HQ, company discounts and employment perks, secure work environment, on campus events at main location, corporate partners, very good at "selling the dream" even if it won't be reality

    Cons

High focus on relationships instead of actual work performance. If someone doesn't like you for whatever reason, it doesn't matter how well you do your job or if you're one the hardest working and best performers for the organization or how much you've the different groups improve their operations, they will make your life a living hell until you either quit or THEY get another job because they will block your movement to another internal position and even use their relationships outside of the company to prevent you getting placed anywhere else in a comparable or better role. Very catty work environment in some parts of the Finance work environment. One of the highest senior executives even used the term "cult" to describe one of the groups and the many people that moved on from that group to attempt to spread their toxicity to other Finance departments.
While they try to keep in check anything that could get the company sued or damage their stellar reputation, saying anything about this type of bullying behavior by some of the staff, while said to be "confidential" will only make matters worse as most people tend to expect, so you either suffer in silence or leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Really listen to your people. If people is as big of a pillar as you say it is, dig deeper than than "confidential" surveys where it is still easy to identify those that take the time to tell the truth about things. Place a high level of importance on actual work performance instead of just a person's like-ability. It's very hard to understand promotions for people that don't even know if they work in corporate or are part of a BU or Bottler or that the monthly RE process stands for Rolling Estimate and not Retained Earnings but that person can smile and brown-nose with the best of them and use their buddies to pad their performance evaluations which you'd easily know were lies if you had any serious business conversations with them where they had to do the talking instead of just smiling and nodding. Those people become the leaders that have the true high performers working for them. That's not good for morale at all and tend to result in your high performers seeking employment elsewhere where their efforts will be valued and rewarded.

    Pros

Flexible time schedule, benefit package is decent, and pay is in line with a entry level position.

    Cons

    Pros

Job security, good benefits, goals are usually attainable, people are friendly and most care about the company they work for.

    Cons

Training program is poor and leaves a lot to be desired, if you are not a self starter you will be left behind. Poor developmental program for employees. Too much focus on the negative vs. the positive for the most part.

    Pros

Amazing benefits. The company as a whole really cares about the employees.

    Cons

Pay stayed low and job expectations kept going up. Not provided a car. Drove 40k miles first year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit micro managing. Help the sales team get what they need instead of breathing down necks and threatening.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits, 401K, pension (which is unheard of now), 3 weeks vacation as soon as you start

    Cons

Too many accounts, feedback is awful especially if you have a boss who lacks people skills. You are micromanaged and expected to finish your route in a day with too tasks. Company cars were taken away so you to use own vehicle and you are given an allowance which does not even cover the vehicle usage or payment. Bonuses are not very clear as how dispersed and raises are very low even though you work your butt off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give better pay raises and at least considering hiring managers with some customer service and people skills.
