I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

great money in the summer time, plenty of overtime, a lot of freedom, ability to work alone and also with coworkers

    Cons

Half the time your hours aren't paid out correctly or they won't pay you for miles, sometimes you are overworked with no help and not appreciated

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate your employees , don't be so condescending

    I worked at Coca-Cola Company

    Pros

brand name and pay, other than that you are nothing to them and can be replaced at anytime, they let you this as well.

    Cons

Company is to big to care about what happens in smaller facilities, pay your corporate lawyers to sweep things under the carpet

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop attending "how to training" and get to know the little people who actually do the work...

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great brands, solid name recognition, global footprint and exposure, and surprisingly complex work for a beverage company.

    Cons

Management is generally clueless and stuck in the 1990s, extreme levels of arrogance and ignorance throughout the company, a select few receive most of the benefits of working at the Company, continual cost-cutting, job compression (doing more with less and for less), compensation has been horrible for the last couple of years and continues to get worse, and too much focus on the wrong priorities. And overall, it's a declining industry that the company keeps doubling-down on.

I worked at Coca-Cola Company full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Benefits package and pay are decent, opportunity for overtime.

    Cons

Overtime is expected a lot. There is too much work for how many people they have employed to get it done. Often not even enough time to take a lunch break due to the work overload. Training is very chaotic and disorganized. Work environment is very dirty and unsanitary.

I worked at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - There are some good people at the company.
    - Global brands
    - Exposure to working with people in other countries.
    - Lots of opportunity, if you are willing to move
    - Good compensation structure, pension, 401K
    - Strong ethical culture
    - They have formal flexible work arrangement programs

    Cons

    - They lack a long term strategy beyond laying people off. I worked there 6 years and saw at least one to two mass layoffs per year, including some very good people. I was not laid off, but would probably have been if I had stayed.
    - It is impossible to move up in the company if you don't want to move to Atlanta.
    - It is difficult to get anything done because there are so many layers of process/approvals
    - A lot of silos and multiple groups doing the same thing
    - Some managers won't let you take advantage of the flexible work arrangement programs.
    - No lactation program, no child care discounts, not on the "Great Places to Work", or "Best Companies for Working Moms", or any of those other lists.
    - Very tight with money, no holiday parties or anything.
    - There is no formal career coaching program.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop always going to layoffs whenever you miss projections. Maybe redefine your projections to match reality, rather than reaching for something you can't get to.
