I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits, 401K, pension (which is unheard of now), 3 weeks vacation as soon as you start

    Cons

Too many accounts, feedback is awful especially if you have a boss who lacks people skills. You are micromanaged and expected to finish your route in a day with too tasks. Company cars were taken away so you to use own vehicle and you are given an allowance which does not even cover the vehicle usage or payment. Bonuses are not very clear as how dispersed and raises are very low even though you work your butt off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give better pay raises and at least considering hiring managers with some customer service and people skills.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time

    Pros

Due to budget constraints a lot of the Pros have been taken away.

    Cons

Cannot move up without a 4 yr. degree! For such a large company there is not a management training program in place for a front line employee who might want to enter management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are hard working individuals within the company that deserve a chance for advancement that may not have a degree.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Facilities are great, free beverages are addicting and pay is fair

    Cons

For contractors it is not a good situation. I have worked with five contractors who were all dismissed for no valid reason just at the director's whim. Even though that is somewhat the nature of contracting, these people deserved a valid reason for their termination which they did not receive

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Whether its a permanent employee or contractor, spend more time evaluating in the interview process rather than the mass hire, mass fire or layoff approach.

    Pros

Pay is above average and can sustain a single parent household.

    Cons

Everything else is gender and favorite based

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Company discounts, well managed 401K program, tuition reimbursement, flex time programs. Retired employees receive a lifetime free lunch. Many locations to apply to.

    Cons

Unrealistic performance and goal setting due to conflicting priorities among client and team staff, thus affecting work life balance. High deductible health insurance, low annual increases even if performance is exemplary. Upward movement can solely depend on who your manager is. High turnover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers should be required to have a psychological profile test prior to being allowed to manage others.

    Pros

As an AM you have the ability to manager your own day. Start early and leave early or start later if you want, just get the job done.

    Cons

Entirely too unorganized to be such a large company. AM are expected to spend day and night finding plans to hit volume, priorities and do everything under the sun. This company does not pay overtime and you will spend a significant amount of time running your route and also planning your day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the AM. Most upper management have never even been AMs. Follow-through is lacking and organization is as well. How do you expect us to execute D1M1 when you don't?

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Best brands in the world with some really smart people in the rank and file

    Cons

Some CCNA divisional leadership has been here too long... good ole boy/girl club with a lot of empty suits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Commit to learning and development, hire the right number of people to get it done, operational cost management is a tool not a solution - taking away car programs, benefits increases, lack of flexible working hours is problematic and does not keep pace with the modern world.

Coca-Cola has the best brands but bad decisions are killing worker engagement and business results.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company

    Pros

Competitive pay and above average benefits. As others have said, we take a lot of pride in what we do. It's not an easy work environment but it can be rewarding.

    Cons

There is a huge difference in company culture depending on which division and area you work. If you have difficulties excepting change, Coca-Cola is probably not a good fit for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Local management does not always adhere to the company's core values.
