Working in IT at CCE: A good experience overall.

    (Former Employee)

ProsThe management and colleagues that I worked with at CCE seemed genuinely committed to the success of the team projects and of every member on the team. There is also a wonderful commitment to diversity and fairness in the ranks.

ConsSince the creation of the new company caused by the acquisition of the North American business by the Coca-Cola Company, there have been a few massive reorganizations of the IT organization in particular. This lead to some changes and confusion about expectation for individual roles and for teams. Also several of the most knowledgeable experienced team members went to the other company in the split. The confusion and pressure from this environment lead to a great deal of stress at times.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease do your best to insure that the IT project managers are either very experienced, or are being mentored directly by experienced project managers.

I was a part time merchandiser for CCE and it was a good job.

    Merchandiser (Former Employee)

ProsGood management that understands problems when they arise. Easy to keep up with other workers and stay on top.
Getting reimbursed for miles as well as hourly made the days much better to work.

ConsWork hours start very early in the morning and sometimes 12 hour days. Not sure some days when you are going to end.

Advice to Senior ManagementAllow some people to pair up on non busy days to work together and finish faster.

Great learning experience, however very physically demanding position.

Retail Accounts Representative (Former Employee) Texarkana, TX

ProsIn this position, you get to work with great customers and really set up a network of professional people that you can continually build on throughout your career.

ConsLong hours, very physically demanding. Too many bosses with different opinions of what needs to be done, without a clear description of what should be.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to the worker bees, they are the ones who interact with the customers on a daily basis and know what they need and want to continue a successful business partnership.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
