Plant Culture

Production Manager (Former Employee)
San Francisco, CA

I worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. full-time for more than 3 years

ProsCoke is global iconic brand and it is distributed all over the world. California largest plants are on the West Coast.
Several career advancement opportunities if you are in sales

ConsNot engaged with TPM Methodology or LSS Methodology
Preventive Maintenance is not at the fore front with mechanics (always a run to failure mentality)
No Engineering Support within the Plant (3rd Party Contractor will assist the plant as needed)

Advice to Senior ManagementShare out the plant vision to the hourly employees
Hold salary individuals accountable with realistic and obtainable goals and objectives

Long hours little pay

Account Manager (Former Employee)
Bartonville, IL

I worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. full-time for more than 3 years

ProsThere was freedom to work they way you wanted to. As long as you met your sales figures and clients did not complain.

ConsSales figures where not realistic which affected your bonus. The pressure to push the newest greatest even if it was a bad product was high.

ProsThe pay, benefits and vacation policy

ConsManagement does not always act in the most professional manner. Constant market tours AKA "dog and pony show" Senior management wanting to hire college graduates based on degree when the best candidates were their own employees.
