Pros
* Quite good benefits package
* Ability to move laterally
* Flexibility to take up new responsibilities and learn on the job
Cons
* Very inflexible support functions
* Poor upper management support for employee benefits/ rights
* Can behave as personal fiefdoms (-ve side of entrepreneurial approach)
Pros
work life balance
Place to retire
Good variable pay; Even employees in CBC (business consulting) who are rated the lowest on performance get more than 100% of the variable
Good workplace
Cons
Typical IT Business Analyst role
Not much in the form of direct business consulting
Advice to Senior Management
think of yourself as consultant and not as Business Analyst who are good for requirement gathering
Pros
Multinational and multicultural environment.
Dealing with important customers.
Strong business consulting attitude to be showed every day.
Cons
In my opinion low average salaries compared with other consultancy companies.
Advice to Senior Management
Improve business consulting structure in order to strengthen CTS presence in BC sector and improve CTS strengthness amongst competitors.
Pros
Get to work with great customers.
Cons
Unless you are a yes-man and suck up to your manager, work all hours of the day, absorb all expenses as they won't get paid back then this is the place your you.....
Relentless focuss on billabilty and misleading the customer are all part of the culture.
Pros
Get to travel a lot of places. Flexible timings...no time clocking.
Cons
Incompetent management, too many politics. Encourages power hungry managers.
Advice to Senior Management
I feel the management is a little clueless about the workforce.
Pros
Good opportunity to work at different technologies
Cons
The quality of avarage peer is low
Advice to Senior Management
be a little fair
Pros
Great Company, Great Top Management, Great Vision.
Cons
Just fine if you are ok with extensive hours of work. Comp may not be directly related to your efforts. Relationship matters
Pros
Benefits, Lesser bench periods, Leadership has a good sense of direction
Cons
Promotions, Salary Raise, Limited growth opportunities, Limited visibility beyond client facing roles
Advice to Senior Management
Need to prep up the salary raises and promotion cycles, create opportunities to enhance employee visibility, Senior management (not just Top Leadership) should period communicate with the lower level reportees at least once or twice a year - it helps in hearing out from employees and motivates them
Pros
. Quality of the workforce is good as they recruit from best colleges
. Quality of Office space
. Relaxed work environment (except when racing towards deadlines)
Cons
. Too big
. No one has time to listen to you or care about what you want, your talents, likes, dislikes and aspirations
. Yearly reviews were not fair
Advice to Senior Management
When a person has executed his assigned job in a timely manner satisfying or exceeding quality expectations, please put some time/effort to LISTEN to what he wants and heed to his aspirations.
Pros
Good Infrastructure and colligues. pay bonuses
Cons
slow computer systems and long holiday hours.
Advice to Senior Management
Train employees with product knowledge first, not what financing offers we have that month.
