Compensation is little less when compared to competitors
People will be deployed on to projects not based on their personal interest and aspirations. I've seen people from top notch colleges and institutions deployed on some useless projects.
Advice to Senior Management
Onsite people are not Gods and change the attitude that always bent in front of them.
Allow people to take challenges and then decide their performance not just blindly refusing them without giving them an opportunity.

Since many of the employees are fresh recruits from colleges, the environment is bubbly and enthusiastic.
It is good for entry level and high level senior professionals.
You get to work with some of the best clients in the world.
The technology direction of the company is good.
One of the high growth player in the industry among peers.
Good brand image.

Mid level employees rarely do see any growth in the career.
Huge competition for onsite positions and heavy lobbying.
The salary is just average inclining lower compared to its peer.
The HR policies When trying to rejoin the org are ridiculous in this center.

Please provide Timely promotions for deserving candidates.
The recognition system should be straightened out.

To become Associate takes long time from Programmer Analyst level and promotions also not easy thing.

Its better to maintain certain scale levels for all otherwise people try to move out of company since concentrating only on laterals with high packages

Reasonable pay, Flexible Timings, Good work culture and environment, Multi-cultural environment.

Support staff not supportive either HR or Admin or Network Staff. It is a struggle to get projects done in time as there is very less guidance from senior staff and requires a lot self-learning. Poor pay hikes even for the deserving staff. Variable Pay system is ridiculous as there is only 10% of staff get the entire variable pay as mentioned in offer letter.
Advice to Senior Management
BES survey is not a solution for looking into employee's issues. Town Halls, Department wise meetings to look into employee's critical issues. Employee backup is needed for average performing employees. Encourage talent by providing good hikes.

- Because of the sheer size of the company, you will have ample opportunity to move into different roles....but dont ask for money on internal job posting
- Strong IT infrastructure
- A reasonable brand name among IT companies in India

- If the company has a centralised support system (faceless organisation, everything is ticket based)then it should be efficient and responsive. Unfortunately all the support functions are centralised and they are the most un-responsive bunch of crowd I have ever come accoss in any company. Most of support staff are unaware of their subject, even business SPOCS for Finance & HR.
- There are sessions / townhalls by Sr. leadership, but its more show-off. Any feedback is just considered as a 'minute of meeting' with no actionable on their part.
- Medical / life insurance benifits are very nominal
- Its upto you whether you want to be just another count in 85000 employees or hold a position where people can recognise you.
- Recently UBS India Service Centre was acquired. I petty on the employees of UBS. The way Sr. Management played politics, squeezed everything out of them and threw most of the employees out of the Company...I really feel shame abt it. Employees in the support function of UBS were demoted (accross the board, even functional heads) intentionally so that they leave the Company.
- Every Senior Management guy will have big words but will be the last person to live upto those commitments
- Because the Company grew mostly by acquisition, it has lost focus on what are its priorities. People are the backbone of a Company. The management seems to have forgotten this. They forgot to strengthen the infrastructure.
