Pros
An extremely employee friendly organization, which does not believe in thrusting opinions on others , rather than works on the policy of inclusion. Good opportunities within the company, employees get time off to participate in training programs & personal chores...salary is not bad either..they continued to pay incentive even during the downturn.
Cons
Somehow folks running the show believe all IIM's & management grads are the best managers, most managers are high on intellectual quotient, but their ability to connect with people at an employee level continues to draw flak from within.
Advice to Senior Management
They should do away with the nomination procedure for promotion, this activity has gotten extremely biased when HR's napping...BPO business needs men & women who can connect with people..mba is a degree & not a mandate.
Pros
pay better then its compititers
Cons
documentation in projects are not well maintained
Advice to Senior Management
Do include such processes to have very haddy documents
Pros
flexible timing, good wok culture
Cons
mid level management is poor
promotions are done with partiality
Advice to Senior Management
look people as assets..
Pros
Few of managers are really good. Team mates are good.
Cons
Hopeless work environment. Very unfair practices. No one except for few of them would support you for anything. Got to improve upon training areas. Judgment skills, soft skills. Most of them are unsophisticated to unprofessional in office time with juniors. Should work more upon the employee feedbacks and of course take it seriously sometimes. Most of the employees are frustrated and don't feel like coming to office everyday. So, quite boring also one can say. Also you just get to do only the routine job, nothing new to learn and implement or experiment.
Advice to Senior Management
To improve upon analyzing the people.
Pros
Key points: Young organization & youthful campus, flexible work hours, ability to suggest freely your ideas/improvement to work , doing great stuffs early in career, bigger responsibility if you can take and prove a point even if you are yet to be in that role in later part of your career, respect for individuals, work ethics, subsidized lunch, belief in competencey over no. of years of experience, work-life balance, open work culture, reward and recognition for doing right thing at right time, better international assignments and exposure, plenty of client facing role in early career, imense opportunity to get more exposure to domain knowldge along with your technical career.
Cons
almost zero recreation facility in campus, average employee benefits policy, too much customer loyality kills emplyee loyality at times, less no. of high end consulting and design related projects, More biased to mamagement roles than technical roles, not so great compensation, very limited team outings, insufficient external / sponsered training programs
Advice to Senior Management
conduct external / in house training programs more frequently per employee,
Bring in more consulting and development related projects ( to grow up in value chain), invest in and nurture "innovation" ideas linked to business. Create above standard compensation and perks package and more friendly employee tax structure and benefits policies.
Pros
We get more time to explore technologies and improves our competencies
Cons
There is nothing to work for.No projects
Advice to Senior Management
stop hiring
