Pros – Cognizant has a very wide base of customers giving it's associates a very high quality exposure. The compensation is very good. They take very good care of the employees compared to their competitors.

Cons – Cognizant does not do high end consulting work for it's clients. So if your aspirations are to become a pure functional consultant then you can only do limited in Cognizant.

Cons – Poor performance management. Promotion is difficult and going to become even more tougher.
There are no defined roles and responsibilities for associates and senior associates. Everybody has to do everything, which results in lot of double work.
