    I worked at Cognosante

    Pros

It has been a few years since I worked there, but for the many I did it was a very employee centric company and you were able to grow within the company steadily.

    Cons

In reading the other reviews and talking with former co-workers, the cons are the same as with any company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider an employee education reimbursement plan.

I have been working at Cognosante as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Two weeks paid vacation after one year, some bonuses, opportunities to change teams.

    Cons

No sick or personal days. Get "points" if you're sick, up to 3 days. Up to 10 and you're fired. Get more points if child is sick, per day. Almost impossible to get vacation around Thanksgiving or Christmas so don't plan on it. Progress or work improvement ideas rarely listened to, or if heard, rarely acted upon.

I have been working at Cognosante

    Pros

    Friendly. Good pay. Good hours.

    Cons

Leadership is worthless. Point system sucks. Weekend shift people get shaft every time something changes. Treated like 3 year olds.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to use common sense when giving points. Be more professional and dont talk about things that shouldn't be told. Harassment claims do not get anything done except a discussion.
