    Pros

Fun, interesting, always something new going on

    Cons

Corporate was very rude at times

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understand that your store employees are usually high school/college students. Respectful and effective service are very important, don't get me wrong, but the corporate expectations were too much for kids 17-20 years old just trying to make some extra gas money.

I worked at Cold Stone Creamery part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The owner at the franchise I was working at was great and scheduling for shifts was very easy. The perks of working there included free ice cream and fun co-workers.

    Cons

The training I went through included an online portion as well as an in-person test of the material I had learned. While the test was sufficient in material knowledge, I felt rushed when I began working because I was not given enough practice in terms of executing orders etc.

    Pros

    none. none. none. none. none.

    Cons

everything. worst people I have ever worked for. Jerks for owners and high school drama everywhwere

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop being jerks and actually talk t your employees instead of screaming at them whenever they make a mistake. It is ridiculous to scream at someone for making a mistake that you can fix in less than five minutes later.

I worked at Cold Stone Creamery part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I really enjoyed the team environment but it is definitely all about the people that you work with.

    Cons

We went from a small franchise to owned by two guys who were very corporate and only cared about their money and not their employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to keep the franchises small and "local" for whats its worth, it helps build the culture of a small ice cream store.
