    At one time it was a great company to work for and the mdse was unique.

    ProsCompany really cares for customer and the customer service is #1.

    ConsCulture has changed tremendously with changes in leadership at home office. Reacting to changes in a difficult retail environment is necessary but the message is sometimes inconsistent.

    Worst professional decision ever

    ProsCompensation was ok, about average. Great outdoors and town to live in though.

    ConsThis company has been doomed to fail for quite some time. Upper management has no clue. Most VPs and Directors aren't running their teams right. No real collaboration. No trust of lower level employees. Way too reactive on promotions. Poor planning.

    Advice to Senior ManagementPay your debts. Trust your employees. Let people go home at decent hours. Listen to your customers.

    What a JOKE!

    ProsThe styles in the beginning until about 5 years ago were great.

    Cons- Too many Old Lady looking garments
    - Fit was always changing
    - Quality went down and prices went up
    - LISTEN to those on the forefront

    Advice to Senior ManagementWith the closing of the company, PLEASE give the associates in the store a clue as to what is going on with the closing. I've found out more in the last 24 hours by talking with the Liquidation Company than being on the weekly conference calls.

    ConsThey kept hiring high-dollar consultants, PR companies and executives to "save the day" rather than letting current employees do what needed to be done.

    Bankrupt Egotistical Executives

    ProsSandpoint, ID is fantastic - a wonderful place to call home

    ConsIdeas from the "working class" never breached the ego-centric executives who just focused on how they could advance themselves vs. the company - hence the recent bankruptcy.

    Advice to Senior ManagementListen to the people actually doing the work and connecting with the customer - You failed at both - now we all are out of a job.
