Current Employee – been working at Coldwater Creek part-time for more than a year
Pros – Customers, clothes line and locations.
Cons – Dishonesty in Management. Promotions of in-mature management that are in above their heads. No real training or support for people to excel. Turnover is an issue and very costly.
Advice to Senior Management – I have read most of the comments, I agree the clothes are expensive however I believe the company markets their line to the customers that can afford the clothes. I do agree that the employee discount should be reduced so that their goal for employees to wear there clothing can realized. Your pay is not enough for the employee's to have the disposable income to purchase the clothing to wear to work. I believe you need to invest in your employee's to get a long term work force and happy satisfied employee's. Happy employee's produce increased sales and happy customers.

Current Employee – been working at Coldwater Creek part-time for more than a year
Pros – You don't have to wear all of Coldwater Creek clothes. Great job if you only want to work about 10 hours a week if you aren't leadership
Cons – No incentives to keep doing a good job. Stores have to have a certain number of sales associates in each store so that keeps everyone's hours down to a small amount each week. You receive a good year end review with no raise. The clothes are too expensive so the discount you get doesn't help.
Advice to Senior Management – If associates are doing a good job, let them know somehow other that a review. There isn't anything you are doing for me so I will keep working hard for you!

Current Employee – been working at Coldwater Creek part-time for less than a year
Pros – Working at Coldwater Creek can be a win-win. Beautiful clothes, great co-workers, exceptional bosses, flexible hours. The camaraderie amongst fellow employees is genuine and solid. Each new line brings excitement to the staff. The clothing is on trend, wearable and comfortable. Employees truly love the product, the company and co-workers. The customers are very nice, easy to work and appreciative. Lots of locations, company is willing to transfer employees when there is availability at another store.
Cons – Being on your feet can be tiring. Working weekends can be difficult for some.
Advice to Senior Management – Employee incentives and wage increases for "migrant" (seasonal employees) who are permanently hired would carry over onto the sales floor.

Pros – Discount is good
Salary is o.k.
Sales staff ...nice
Cons – Really bad management starting at DM level. And that head of HR Wow look out for her.
If you work there you had better never tell them the true facts that goes on at store level. Just lie like they ALL do.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't ask the truth and then use it against employee.

Current Employee – been working at Coldwater Creek full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great benefits, salary is decent.
Cons – clothes are for older women, so it is hard to sell to the younger generation. Company seems to be losing money and not making money.
Advice to Senior Management – Give management a better discount if you want them to wear your clothes, the prices are so high that even the employee discount doesn't help. keep a promo for longer then a day, it gets confusing for the part time associates and for our customers that come in twice a week
