    Pros

the morning shift is decent hours

    Cons

basically I'm doing a man's job for him working on a machine you need to be real fast and at the same time not burn yourself

    Advice to Management

take it easy on the ladies and let the mens do their job instead of the guys doing the easy work

    Pros

    Good Brand and good product

    Cons

How quickly can you get thrown under the bus? With the current Top management it won't take long. Abusive management style. They will protect their jobs at all costs. If Jarden knew the damage they do on a consistent basis. Ask any mid manager offline.

    Advice to Management

People do make a difference. The brand is old and tired. Quit looking for people to throw under the bus when your poor leadership results in poor performance.

    Pros

    N/A. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    Cons

No clear long or short term strategy, especially on how to address current challenges the industry and company are facing. No strong mid-management to properly and effectively execute roles and responsibilities and manage staff. No communication from senior management to employees. No employee trust or empowerment. Benefits are not top tier.

    Advice to Management

Needs strong leaders to drive and communicate clear long and short term strategies. Needs strong managers and employees to execute vision, review existing processes and procedures to recommend and implement improvement, need to trust and empower employees to execute their jobs. Leaders and upper management need to communicate to employees more frequently including the strategy and vision to employees.

    Pros

Can learn a new job. Has day shift hours.

    Cons

Have to be flirty with trainer to get proper assistance. Upper management flat out lied to me in my face.

    Advice to Management

Quit your job and retrain yourself to be a leader not a tyrant

    Pros

Continually meet great people, but expect them to leave within 1-2 years because Coleman can't retain good employees, preferring to keep the lazy, complacent ones.

    Cons

No communication, no direction, no feedback on performance from upper management. Employees left in the dark about current situation and sales. Coleman does not invest in training its employees and will not even purchase books. Morale and loyalty suffers because they do not invest in team building activities.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees like assets instead of liabilities. Use leadership to nurture and help employees grow instead of yelling at them.
