    Pros

Fast moving. Get to do a lot of different things. Company has locked up its niche in market. Owned by Berwind corporation, a private company.

    Cons

Lots of turnover in staff, much being involuntary. "Fast moving" often leads to bad HR decisions and business decisions.

    Advice to Management

There are some real "duds" on the executive team, who seem to keep their jobs regardless of their mistakes. Weed out these legacy under-performers.

    Pros

Work is not overly diffcult, the other employees are decent t be around.

    Cons

Lots of turnover, managers are difficult to work with, no room to go anywhere.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

You will Learn a lot. They will train you and get you certified in multiple areas.

    Cons

Poor management. Very low raises. Incompetent managers. Some managers force employees to work hours that some just cannot do. If you fight them on it, they will fire you and fight your unemployment. Higher up managers are very disrespectful. Managers give their friends good raises, allow them to work what ever hours they want. People that actually work, are treated like garbage. Insulted verbally everyday by management.

    Advice to Management

Some should be outright fired. They will pick on the wrong person someday.. I would not be surprised if something happened here with a disgruntled employee. It is that bad.

    Pros

They are proactive and typically decisions don't take forever to happen

    Cons

There is not a lot of confidence in the higher management that they are doing the right decisions. Only some have access to feedback

    Advice to Management

Do listen to people, and if you ask for input be prepared to act on what you hear.

    Pros

It a great dynamic place, with a good corprate culture, I learned a lot as an engineering co-op there. It was avery rewarding experience.

    Cons

It was a bit far from the city of Philadelphia, where I live in, the daily commute can take it's toll on you sometimes

    Advice to Management

I honestly enjoyed and admired the leadership at Colorcon, the run a very lean- streamlined operation, with a lot of job security, so long as you perform well, but there is a low employee turnover ratio, so it might limit the pool of ideas from outside

    Pros

The company offers flexable time but a very fast pace working area. The companies business is successful and pays at a good mediate range. Great benefits available.

    Cons

Less pay than the average market value. The growth from one position to another is slow.

    Advice to Management

Increase in pay would definitly work out. But judge seniority based on knowledge and work potential rather than counting years of experiance.
