    Pros

Managers and peers were reliable, always made sure to offer relief for breaks. Good documentation of procedures and processes to help with self-taught training. Provided meals during shift.

    Cons

Not a lot of room or support for growth. Scheduling varied week to week, and would require early or late hours.

    Advice to Management

Provide more cross training, provide more consistent scheduling with options to rotate off-business hours. Continue providing meals to staff.

    Pros

The company itself is fine to work for - good ideals and family feel.

    Cons

specific locations have iffy management that plays easily into the hands of pushy employees.

    Pros

Good benefits, great PTO accruals, excellent customer service training. They set a high bar on service.

    Cons

I was always making $5-10k less than I deserved. Many of their properties are boutique, and they struggle creating and implementing streamlined processes. I also remember being frustrated that often, the culture and the message behind company initiatives wasn't always disseminated very well from Home Office to the rest of the properties.

    Advice to Management

They clearly know Service, but I feel like their recent growth has taken away from the focus that gave them their identity.

    Pros

Full Benefits, Competitive Salary, Waterfront Office (Seattle), Meals On-Site, Parking, Collaborative Approach, Small Business Feel, Horizontal Management Structure, Team Outings

Still trying to identify long term vision, direction at times. Perhaps some growing pains in the past few years - but gaining momentum.

    Advice to Management

Continue to better the team member experience! People are the foundation of everything.

    Pros

    The company has great benefits.

    Cons

Desperately needs to improve communication with each other in upper management and training does not exist. This company has no idea what they are doing with the golf world.

    Advice to Management

Train your employees and consider talking to them before you either fire them or chase out quality people. Hire someone that knows how to manage private clubs the person in charge at this time is clueless.....

    Pros

The managers work with you and listen to any complaints. Benefits are good and payroll is always on time. PTO is awesome and more companies should offer it.

    Cons

Everyone is very busy and usually working 2-3 positions. Managers listen but follow through is null.

    Advice to Management

Do what you say you will do to help employees.

    Pros

Managers are awesome. Team camaraderie was the absolute best part of the job!

    Cons

The client-base is much different than any other hotel. A lot of medical guests, and they're not very happy for their stay, considering, you know, their situation.

    Advice to Management

Housekeeping needs a lot of work. Other then that, they're great!

    Pros

There are some great and incredibly hard working people at this company. Get discounts at properties.

    Cons

Unfortunately those great people are all hourly. Senior leadership and upper management tend to treat hourly employee's like disposable assets. And the only way to really move up in this company is to have a friends in management. Promotions are based more on who likes you and not on job performance.

    Advice to Management

Put more stock in quality and substance.
