I worked at Command Center part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Part-Time seasonal, good way to pick-up extra cash and have fun.

    Cons

Long hours in the middle of the night because you are cleaning the grandstands after the games at Century Link Field.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Command Center full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You get to meet some hard workers, some slum and really learn the culture. A very humbling experience.

    Cons

Unlawful labor practices, treatment to Clients and Employees inappropriate, upper management disconnected and doesn't return calls, under pays employees and FTM's, misleading Client's.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I tried to contact corporate to make them aware of unlawful practices, labor and wage issues. I left messages with HR and sent and email to my Manager's Manager and never received a return call. Follow up and follow through, review questionable repeat problems showing up in branches. Training should be done a more than one location to provide consistency. Track and manage your salaried employees carefully so they don't abuse the privileges of not using a time clock.

I worked at Command Center full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

For a time it was a great opportunity to build a business and get rewarded for your diligent work.

    Cons

Current senior management has serious issues with integrity and follow up.
No setting of a clear vision or culture for the company.
Individual branches are left in the dark without any guidance or management.

A previous comment stated : "Backstabbing, incompetent upper management." Their comment was submitted in 2008 - I did not experience this until management contemporary to my posting was in place.

    Pros

Very little micro management. Todd Welstad is a gem to work for,

    Cons

The CEO came out of retirement to run the company. Unfortunately his son, the COO, is much more in touch with the modern world than he is. They don't spend much on office environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Thanks for a great experience, you guys are wonderful people to work for. If the position is every open again, I'll apply for sure.

    Cons

Not to be able to place some of the qualified into permanent employment.

    Pros

She is a great people person and has compassion for her employees. She knows talent when she sees it and understands that people have feelings too.
