I have been working at CommonBond Communities full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Has a high-energy leadership team, mission-based work that makes a difference, with other people who care deeply about affordable housing. Makes an investment in training and employee development. Really listens to people who have constructive and respectful feedback about how to make the organization better.

    Cons

I can see where it might be hard to feel like part of the larger culture for one who works at a smaller property.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep working hard to integrate a fantastic culture!

I worked at CommonBond Communities full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Growing company, opportunity for advancement, great benefits, employee appreciation, fun team environment (I suppose that depends on which site you are at), flexibility

    Cons

salaries are a bit lower, sometimes lack of communication between corporate and sites, office politics and 'drama' (again, this could vary between sites), low annual increases

    Recommends

I have been working at CommonBond Communities full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Great company so far to work with. The kindness and helpful attitude here is impressive.

    Cons

None I can find yet. If you do not want to work for a large company, this is not your place. Still I must say with the CEO coming to speak with new employees at orientation, it does retain a very personable atmosphere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

From what I am seeing so far my only advice is keep it up!

I worked at CommonBond Communities full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Working with the Residents at there Assisted Living Facility

    Cons

upper management does not support there employees. They have very dishonest people in positions that have no experience. They all cover up with each other so nothing can get to the CEO. They get what they need from you and toss you out like a bag of trash

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be able to talk to the little people that actually make the company successful. Be more involved with your staff and don't feel you can trust everyone I have never worked for a company that has lost good workers and have kept two faced supervisors that will do anything to get head

    I worked at CommonBond Communities

    Pros

    - Lenient scheduling
    - Good PTO rate
    - Co-workers are hard working and willing to help yopu learn

    Cons

Middle Managment has been poorly selected
Extremely poor communitcation within the company
the salaries will qualify you to live in public housing
    No incentives whatsoever

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Turnover rates will continue to be high until you pay your employees enough to stick around for a bit.

    - Take liability for when employers take home unwanted bugs to their homes from work.

    - Give employees more incentive top further their education, giving credit at a community college does not cut it.
