Pros

good work culture. fair compensation. not too much loading everyday
(from 8:30 to 20:00) free dinner if overwork after 19:00. nothing more.

Cons

Too fair compensation for everyone, every division. You will get almost the same cash bonus
even you work very aggressively or positively.

Advice to Senior Management

It's time to do something in investing money and research advanced technology.
Don't just cost down and choose cheap HW/SW solutions.

Compal Electronics Process Engineer in Shanghai (China): (Current Employee)

“Strong competitor from expanding Taiwanese Corp”

Pros

Promotion opportunity in its new factory in Vinh Phuc, Vietnam
Salary quite satisfactory

Cons

Too much pressure , strict and little knowledge sharing
Very long working hour ( 12 hour per day, 6 day per week so total is 72 hour per week)
Very low level of English speaking ( all engineer and executive)
Long waiting for Vietnam project
Low bonus, low living standard in dormitory
To much different on treating between Taiwanese and other ( Vietnamese & Chinese)

More caring on suborn ates
Fluent English
Equal treating between races
Provide sufficiently working tools
