Pros
I enjoyed being able to travel all over the country, meeting people, while doing my job. Working from home was a huge benefit.
Cons
Very little support from management. Too quick to assume that it was the field operatives fault as opposed to something internal. Very little feedback on general issues, insights, suggestions, etc. Follow up was lacking from management.
Advice to Senior Management
Be real with what you're doing in a visible role and what you expect your staff to do. You as management are exemplars of the overall corporate structure; if you're going against the grain or not following the "norm", don't expect those that watch you to do anything different.
Pros

Cons

20 days vacation is the only one I can think of.
Cons
Terrible management, not all employees treated the same, terrible pay, more customer service than Accounting, DON'T WORK HERE!
Advice to Senior Management
Stop playing favorites to the employees that are sheep and follow everything you say. Value different opinions!
Pros
Operational hours, able to be creative, able to have have ownership of my operation, hearing, "wow, that food was terrific" having a team member tell you are the best boss ever, making the client happy
Cons
Corporate, RVP & DMs mandate more programs than possible to do. It's a fulltime job just to do the programs, tracking, logging, marketing. You leave everyday a winner with the customers, food, safety and service, but a failure in the flood of programs that the executives think of while sitting at their desk. It is like russian roulette when you are visited by upper management. What one of the 50 programs are they going to check on? In addition. Being threatened daily by your DM. Our DM is the most horrible person I have ever met on all levels. Only followed by our RVP who is crazy and hired her. Those who have spoken have been termminated. I try to do everything that we are supposed to do. After 15 hours, I find myself unable to think. I catch up every weekend only to find I cannot complete even a small portion. I work every weekend just to be slightly complient with the programs
Advice to Senior Management
I do not know how to fix the problem. My expertise is culinary and management of a small team of people. I do know that our district is corrupt. I do know that the mass amount of programs are to justify jobs. Instead of paying people to sit in an office pushing papers and thinking of more things to do, send them to the units to actually work. The insight would be beneficial to them and they might be able to think of real good ideas
Pros
all people nice and polite, good pay
Cons
You have to work at different sites, the work can be very challenging physically
