    Pros

    Compass is a great company to work for if you are looking for a work/life balance. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, and this is the best quality of life I have ever experienced.

    Cons

    I have discovered some organizational issues since I have come aboard. There are some communication issues, specific to my unit of employment. The managerial philosophies are quite different than anywhere I have ever worked.

    great pay with very little work. great hours. no weekends or holidays

    Cons

    management was horrible. customers & employees steal. negative work environment.

    Pros

    Former senior management was great. Cared about the kids and associates. Lots of opportunity then.

    Cons

    New senior management has their own agenda to create a name for themselves. Don't want to listen to any opinions that are different from their own. Getting away from the original mission which was to feed kids. They have been losing quite a bit of business in the last year and it is probably because of their lack of support for the people in the field. It's easy to come up with all these new ideas when you are sitting behind a desk but sometimes you need to stop and find out if your new expectations are what is truly best for the frontline and the kids. Too money driven and too much fear, intimidation and bullying used as their management style.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to those that have been in the business longer than you. Keep an open mind that you don't know everything or you will continue to lose business to Sodexo, Aramark, and the regional companies.

    They give you 80 hours every two weeks.

    Not getting paid on time. No flexibility

    Pros

    Very relax laid back atmosphere,but fun and exciting as we'll.The perks don't hurt either ie: the food,flowers etc that can be taken home are just icing on the so so sweet cake!!

    Cons

    To me there were not many cons,maybe the lack of team work that is needed when it's time to break down after the parties are over.

    Advice to Management

    There should be more incintives to stay overtime because you are required to work well after your schedule "off" time with no extra pay and that break down is not easy or fast kinda work.

    flexible schedule, paid for hours worked, not difficult work, always something going on, no day is the same

    Cons

    associate are difficult to motivate, work isn't mentally challenging, poor communication
