    Pros

Great company to start out of high school or while in college. It's a good start up company for someone who lack experience. If you're looking to receive experience to move up to a different position in another company CGS would be great start!

    Cons

It's a dead end job, the position you start in will be the position you remain in. The pay is low, no incentives or salary raises are offered. If you're looking for a company to grow within , this is not the company.

    Advice to Management

start communicating directly to your employees and better on the job training.

    Pros

100% flexibility for those who love choices. Trains on necessary job duties even if you are not experienced at all so basically anyone can work here. Great place to gain experience and apply it to your resume then move on. Few great people to work with and build great connections. HR is awesome!

    Cons

Bad communication. More work than getting paid for. Fixed income. No raises. Promotional options are few. Incentive plan sucks and almost impossible. Micro Managing.Employees are just a number to this company. High turn over. Hires people who do not have any experience at all just because they need the bodies to fill up the center and then when those people are not performing to their standards they fire them. They do not truly care about fixing their customers issues at all. They more care that you are not on the phone longer than the time allowed per the SLA and your customer service skills. The salary employee hourly rates are a joke yet they are also Over Time exempt. The hire a lot of unprofessional and ghetto individuals.

    Advice to Management

Need to train the people they promote from within how to manage and teach them about managerial skills because most of them do not now how to manage, they are very rude and do not know how to talk or approach people. They only promote from withing to management based on who they like or who hits their numbers while they were on the phones as a TSR, or based on their knowledge of the job when what they should also consider is HOW they manage and if they have the right personality for a management position as well as how professional the individuals are. These things need to be in consideration as well.

    Pros

good company. I have worked for CGS for 3 years and have yet to receive a raise. There is no room for advancement. A typical work day consists of answering calls and providing customer service specific to each customers need. Management is OK but I feel favoritism plays a big roll and it is the type of environment where you don't feel comfortable voicing your opinions. Co-workers are pleasant and the hardest part is being over worked and underpaid which makes you feel under valued as an employee and individual.

    Cons

    no salary raise or advancement

    Pros

Many nice people work here. Not sure why. Good people are treated poorly, or in the best case scenario, completely disregarded.

    Cons

Mad Men era mentality where your stereotypical business man rules and even the women dislike women. Oppressive corporate environment that does a bad job of pretending that it's not. If you respect yourself, continue your job search.

    Advice to Management

    Please retire.

    Pros

Promotes internally first, great learning experience and full benefits

    Cons

communication its not good, they do not treat employees like they should, do not take doctor's excuses

    Advice to Management

Management needs to find a way to relate important information to all of the agents and reward those who are going the extra mile

    Pros

Gain technical experience which is a growing field.

    Cons

Disorganized and highly dysfunctional. (Believe all the reviews) extremely low pay for the job that is done

    Advice to Management

Make sure that all team leads and LTA's are on the same page. Do a refresher training class so that the entire call center understand all processes to avoid customers being told different information depending on the agent they get. Also if you made the work place less stressful you wouldnt need to hire new people every other month. Also get everyone trash cans instead of paper boxes.

    Pros

    No pros just a payceck

    Cons

They are so focused on their client that they can't see what is right in front of their nose. They want to hire dummies to work as skilled labor and pay pennies for them and then treat you like crap. THey do not care about anyone but their own pocket book despite claiming that they serve their clients. There is no room for advancement and no raises...in fact the pay for new employees has been reduced to $11!

    Advice to Management

Shoot yourselves now! If not then actually pay the going rate to get someone who knows what they are doing. If you keep treating people this way your clients will leave you and you'll be unable to fufful your contracts. No one wants to work for you EVER!
