Its not the best place to work but its OK

    Programmer Analyst Professional (Former Employee)
    Blythewood, SC

    ProsGood Managers
Got a bonus - ONE TIME in 4 years.
may be a good entry point but get out as soon as you can

ConsWork-life balance was not good. I use to take work with me home. Lot of lazy employees to work with. You can get the crap of others just because they are lazy. So you have to be vigilant all the time. - Below market pay(Very low). No overtime opportunities, furloughs, lay off, pay cuts, work on old technologies

Advice to Senior ManagementRaise salary of your employees and their confidence in you.

One dimensional. Self managing with little chance of advancement.

    Systems Engineer (Current Employee)
    Saint Louis, MO

ProsMay have opportunities to work from home. That's about it.

ConsLittle or no team concept. Be prepared to do things on your own and to look out for yourself because management or leadership is sorely lacking. Work-life balance non-existing. Like a colleague of mine used to say......They suck the life out of you"

Advice to Senior ManagementTrue leadership is lacking from mid-level on down managers. Have had many supervisors....no leaders.

    Getting fed up

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThere is ample opportunity to move around and experience multiple clients and locales. Management has made more of an effort to communicate with employees.

ConsEven though the stock price continues to rise and the company is profitable and paying dividends, there is a constant stream of freezes, layoffs, managed vacations, and furloughs. The company is making up for lack of growth by continuing to put the burden on employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart keeping promises to employees.

    Not what is once was...

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Falls Church, VA

ProsExcellent work life balance, flexible hours, decent benefits, good people.

ConsContinuous shifts and reorgs. Too many Sr Managers and not enough doers. Inconsistent direction, each division was ran as a separate company.

    Couldn't be happier.

    Software Engineer (Current Employee)
    Egg Harbor Township, NJ

    Pros-Competitive Salary/Benefits/401K
    -Challenging and rewarding environment
    -Friendly co-workers and managers
-Senior Management works extremely well with their employees. It doesn't feel like they are my boss, it feels like we are a team working towards achieving the same goals.
-The resources/tools given to me are extremely useful and I am learning more and accomplishing more every day.

ConsI don't see this as a con but I have to put something here! There is a lot to learn. Perhaps in your first few months you may want to put in some extra time to get ahead of the learning curve.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the great work. I've worked in other offices before and they cannot compare to the helpfulness and confidence you have in your employees.
