    Pros

Can offer a wide range of opportunities, many of which can be performed remotely. Company has global reach. Current management has completed many streamlining activities to cut to costs which has resulted in a substantial increase in stock price over the past the few years.

    Cons

Employee engagement is low and is not seen as a high corporate priority. The industry is very competitive and controlling labor costs is a major factor to meet financial goals. Employee morale is low.

    Advice to Management

Take steps to improve employee morale. Most employees have a negative opinion of the company, IMO. I would not want to lead a company whose employees have this view. There were times when I was embarrassed to say I worked for CSC.

    Pros

Flexible work hours and management is fairly good. Provide assistance to workers whose jobs are de-funded or eliminated. Overall good place to work.

    Cons

Few chances for advancement. Favoritism is fairly common. Also, job stability is not good. Most work with Computer Sciences Corporation is contract work and may be defunded at any time.

    Advice to Management

Provide more avenues for advancement; keep employees abreast of stability of funding to maintain contract and jobs; encourage team co-hesion and inclusion of all workers in problem solving.

    Pros

Good team atmosphere, good entry level job. I enjoyed working on the team I did. Other people aren't so lucky.

    Cons

Don't expect raises and they make you take mandatory vacation. You can't carry over vacation so when they make you take vacation in March it's not ideal.

    Advice to Management

Do away with mandatory vacation and properly compensate young professionals. You keep losing out on young talent by never giving raises but increasing workload.

    Pros

Flexibility to work from home. On my team great people to work with and enjoy most of what I do.

    Cons

Heavy involvement from corporate level ruins areas of the company that they have no clue about. Not concerned seemingly with keeping talent and paying their workers adequately.

    Advice to Management

Do more to care about your employees and long term stability.

    Pros

Good people and exceptional clients. Work at home or at client for the most part. If you want a place to go to work, look elsewhere.

    Cons

Focus shifted from working model with strong middle management to flat line and little middle management. This is leading to people drifting without direction and inability to capitalize on new business. Lost exceptional lead in cloud computing do to this lack of focus.

    Advice to Management

    Get back to basics.
