    Pros

    Fair Pay, good co workers

    Cons

CSC is selling off contracts, losing contracts cut over 35K in the past 3 years. Direct mgt does not care about workers, out right lies about employees they want to cut. Could care less about clients. Expect to work 60-80 hour work weeks and weekends.

    Advice to Management

Get real. Treat your employees with respect

    Pros

Flexibility and co-worker collaboration are a plus. CSC is a prestigious company with a long heritage. Many educational resources are available.

    Cons

Depressing work atmosphere feels like a death march. Training is only available on your own time. Salary has flatlined. Loyalty is not valued.

    Advice to Management

The workers are dedicated to CSC customers and sacrifice to keep them satisfied. Some acknowledgement of appreciation would go a long way.

    Pros

Wide range of opportunities in different geographic locations, as expected for a large company. Some flexibility to work remotely. Not much more to say; it used to be a much better company.

    Cons

Not an employee friendly company. Few if any raises the past few years for majority of USA employees, including high performers. Annual shrinking benefits. No training budget. Gutted HR Dept. Little to no company pride or loyalty, including in senior management ranks. Constant drumbeat of re-orgs. create an atmosphere of permanent instability and lack of confidence in top leadership. Steady outflow of "best and brightest" due to lack of advancement and confidence in the company's direction.

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting to the bone for short term appeasement to Wall Street and personal financial gain. Start investing in your people (i.e. intellectual capital) to distinguish your company from the competition.

    Advice to Management

take care of long term employees.

    Pros

Great people, well managed. New company structure is just the medicine that we have needed for a long time. I would recommend to a friend.

    Cons

I left and came back recently. HR processes not so hot. It takes 4 days to be recognized as an employee by HR once on board. I couldn't even get technical help until I was there 4 days.

    Pros

Can offer a wide range of opportunities, many of which can be performed remotely. Company has global reach. Current management has completed many streamlining activities to cut to costs which has resulted in a substantial increase in stock price over the past the few years.

    Cons

Employee engagement is low and is not seen as a high corporate priority. The industry is very competitive and controlling labor costs is a major factor to meet financial goals. Employee morale is low.

    Advice to Management

Take steps to improve employee morale. Most employees have a negative opinion of the company, IMO. I would not want to lead a company whose employees have this view. There were times when I was embarrassed to say I worked for CSC.

    Pros

As a company CSC seems to care about its employees. I never felt like I was just a cog in a larger machine.

    Cons

Contracting was sub par leaving employees open to scope creep constantly requiring many more hours per week than should have been required.

    Advice to Management

Protect the job scope for the employees so they can focus on what they do best.
