I have been working at Computer Sciences Corp full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Some real smart people and good people.

    Cons

too much cutting costs, no privacy everybody hear and sees what your are doing, cannot do conference calls in the cubicle. Too much turnover. Benefits are just regular, more on the downside.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Everybody should help in cutting costs, stop having lavish dinners, been so generous in tipping when is not your own money, don't make exceptions to your favorites for business class and have executives just take a cab instead of limo service.

I have been working at Computer Sciences Corp full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Access to industry leading solutions and SMEs, collaborative team environment, and ability to mentor and receive insight from great leadership teams

    Cons

Employees must be individually motivated to move into new roles and keep current with industry trends. That is not specific to this company but generally the case for any large ITO firm in the new age of commodity based Xaas

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow the company from within and challenge employees for continuous improvement with current; leading edge career training. Require mentoring for all roles and develop next gen industry leaders.

    Cons

Don't work here if you are expecting an annual raise. The company changed the policy to a bell curve.

    Pros

Good pay, performance based promotions, rewarding work.

    Cons

Extra hours are required. It's not too bad, but work/life balance is compromised a bit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Computer Sciences Corp full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people and interesting projects make for a constantly evolving work environment. The current financial transformation could pay off very well for employees in the future but it has been a very length and seemingly never-ending transformation.

    Cons

Lack of promotions and raises because of the financial transformation has significantly lowered employee morale and has caused quite a few of the best people to seek employment elsewhere. Diminishing benefits and a non-chalant attitude from management has caused significant employee dis-satisfaction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to start running the business based on a sustainable business model rather than simply short term cost cutting measures.
