Pros
Depends on the office you are working in. Within my region the RD was very supportive and open to new ideas. However, Management above the RD was knee-jerk reactive and made decisions without even working within the region
Cons
If the region is being run from Corporate look out. Corporate tends to support corporate rather than the field. Recent press about hiring the former Detriot Mayor has damaged credibility in the marketplace.
Advice to Senior Management
Sr Management needs to be located in the region they are running. New marketing program is not working. Management is very Mainframe centric and the market sees it as such.
