    Telecommuting, early out summer Fridays, work out facilities, jeans dress for the day

    Cons

    The loss of PMO staff, musical chairs aka hotelling, high cost of benefits, agile is not a good fit for all types of projects.

    Listen to employees, training, agile is not a good fit for most projects.

    Has some great people that are dedicated to making a difference.

    Executive leadership lacks the courage to make the hard and mandatory decisions for it's Supply Chain.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to "clean house" of the old guard that is in power. They lack vision, integrity and leadership to make the tough decisions for the company's future. They need to bring in competent leaders to right the ship.

    Reasonable expectations

    It is not clear on what it takes to get promoted
    Eventual new CEO could make big changes so the future is not clear
    Poor recent strategy and execution has resulted in layoffs and lower morale.

    Invest when things are bad so we can take advantage of opportunities when things are good.

    Pros

    Flexible working hours, summer hours (half day friday), Omaha is a great city if you have a family. Very supportive leadership.

    Cons

    Average pay, hard to advance into leadership roles. No profit sharing. This company is a leader but is American. there are no international opportunities.

    hold people accountable. people make mistakes doing their best. people make mistakes because they don't do due dilligence - hold them accountable.

    Good pay. Good summer hours.

    Cons

    Terrible training and if you asked any body for help they acted like you were bothering them. They expected you to know everything in a short time with no training. Would not recommend working there.

    Have some actual training. Some of the managers need to retire.

    Summer Hours, Dress for the Day, Vacation starts at 3 weeks. Work life balance can be good depending on your manager.

    Cons

    Management hyper short-term focused. Cut off nose to spite the face. Lack of strategy or true leadership within the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stick with strategies and communicate real numbers for annual plan. Stop promoting people internally and bring in some fresh perspective. Other companies don't operate this way!

    Pros

    I found the pay to be above average and I was given a lot of latitude to chart my own course. I really enjoyed my colleagues too.

    Cons

    The acquisition of Ralcorp was and still is a disaster. ConAgra leadership did not do a good job of performing due diligence on what they were buying. The combined Company's performance underwhelmed (and continues to underwhelm); hence the need for a "reorganization". Unfortunately, those individuals who were directly responsible for this poor value acquisition are still running the show while many good individuals, who had nothing to do with the acquisition paid for management's mistake. When the CEO announced his impending "retirement", the stock shot UP nearly 50 cents that day. Need I say more?

    New CEO needs to clean house of old style management when he/she arrives.

    Ability to move from department to department getting an overall view of the company and different sets of experience.

    Very little accountability for own performance or with direct reports. Everyone looks out for themselves.

    Pros

    People are great to work with. Management is flexible on work hours and accommodating when situations requiring time off occur.

    Cons

    The path to advancement has requirements (internal certifications) that are not offered making advancement pretty much impossible. They don't value experience outside of ConAgra when promoting. There are no full time Project Managers limiting any Project Management work to minor tasks such as release scheduling.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Fully embrace Project Management. Weigh past experience when considering promotions.
