    Pros

It's a good first job, but don't plan on staying long. Learned a lot about leading people right away. People are fun to work with and have good hearts

    Cons

Lamb Weston ConAgra Foods has the worst leaders I have ever seen. Most are extremely selfish and think of their employees as just "bodies" not "people". This company is a "good ole boy" system. Doesn't matter if your good at your job, only matters of if management likes you. There is a 50% turnover rate in this position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Flexible working hours, summer hours (half day friday), Omaha is a great city if you have a family. Very supportive leadership.

    Cons

Average pay, hard to advance into leadership roles. No profit sharing. This company is a leader but is American. there are no international opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

hold people accountable. people make mistakes doing their best. people make mistakes because they don't do due dilligence - hold them accountable.

    Pros

Pay was very good and comparable for similar postions in the area. Also the people have been great to work with.

    Cons

Lack of leadership and honesty has led to a significant talent loss. I have been through two downturns at this current facility and decpite being the low cost producer, we've seen our volume be moved elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be honest with your employees.

    Pros

Got to work from home, generally good benefits

    Cons

Were consistently fed lies to relay to consumers we spoke with, even if we knew them to be untrue. This company truly lies so much about the products they make and the quality of the ingredients tat they must believe their own food. Management were basically talking heads for the upper management, and we never received results from suggestions or complaints as employees. All seemed to go to management and then die. Consumer affairs is a dumping ground for consumer complaints - the employees in the department listen, but no one listens to them after the complaint is filed, Managers all received special hours for the summer, were very difficult to reach at times. Home agents must keep hours until 6pm, even when all office employees are gone by 3pm. Christmas bonus from this multi-million dollar corporation was coupons for the food I was in charge of receiving complaints about. Thanks so much.

    Pros

My salary was always competitive and there were plenty of opportunities learn and grow within the area.

    Cons

I experienced good managers and not-so-good managers, the latter of which were clueless and damaging to team morale and productivity. Health insurance is comparatively expensive, and coverage minimal. Annual wellness hoops were a pain. Advancement opportunities were few and far between.
