Pros – Great people, great training, everyone cares! If you are lazy and don't care then don't go to work for ConAm - you won't last.
Cons – Not the highest paying in the industry but the people make up for that.
Advice to Senior Management – Better hourly pay

I worked at ConAm Group of Companies full-time for less than a year
Pros – I cant name any. If your face does not fit then they really make it hard for you to learn anything.
Cons – Countless people start and leave this company. I dread going to work because of my manager who is so unprofessional but I need the money.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to staff lower down the food chain. We are speaking the truth about what really goes on in the office.

I have been working at ConAm Group of Companies
Pros – If you cannot find another job, work for ConAm until you find another. They have lost there best property managers to better companies, and are hiring at the time. Always keep in mind you will never get paid well for the work you do.
Cons – The turn over is really high, so they are always hiring. There is no job security as they lose contracts, sell properties and give demotions. They say it is a "Business Decison"

I worked at ConAm Group of Companies
Pros – Core group of long-term senior management that has strong integrity and cares about the company and the people. Focus on high standards and performance. Room for advancement, family-like atmosphere where people work hard and have fun.
Cons – Pay is on the low side. Senior management has been in place for a long time and they're not going anywhere, so if you aren't on board with their personalities you'll need to eventually leave.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to work at fostering morale and appreciating your employees. The family-like environment is the best part about working at ConAm and helps offset the lower pay and long hours.

I have been working at ConAm Group of Companies
Pros – I enjoy the training and mentorship that Senior Management has provided.
Cons – Long hours high stress level at times
When you work directly with someones homes and their money they become territorial and rightfully so. Create a calm and keep perspective and it will work out.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen and hear what your employees have to say about their work environment. Be proactive when they discuss a valid point regarding their individual work place and environment.

Pros – Thoughtful work process with strong training and support. Company provides the tools to be succesful and alows you the freedom to perform and grow profesionally.
Cons – Because things are so thought out there are a lot of people involved in every decision, making resolution times longer than desired.
Advice to Senior Management – Increase pay for site associates starting with an appropriate bonus system that encourages performance in all aspects of business.

I have been working at ConAm Group of Companies full-time
Pros – There are several people who are wonderful to work with. They go out of their way to assist with issues and do their best with the tools they are provided with. If you come into the company as in records management there are several opportunities for advancement. Can be a stepping stone to further your career.
Cons – Corporate management at times has a "my way or the highway" attitude. There is a culture of compartmentalized thinking. Slow in adopting up to date support and training options. People in mid career have little to no option for advancement. Compensation is on the low side.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen more talk less

I have been working at ConAm Group of Companies part-time for less than a year
Pros – I feel the 12 dollars a hr to start is a far wage for this place and time. I wanted part time, and that's what I have.
Cons – No training, 3 days on MRI training, they run you thru it so fast you can't remember anything. Been with the company now 1 month and I have yet to of had any training with my manager. I spent one day with her and that was it, handed keys and I've been on my own ever since. If this is how this company expects to run their business and treat their employees, this is crazy. Do I make alot of mistakes, you bet! But when my only trainer is a book, what else do you expect. Not happy with this job at all, I made a huge mistake taking this position.
Advice to Senior Management – Really? Check up on your new employees to make sure they are being trained, don't assume because you planted them at a apartment community that all is well. This is a horible way to start a job, if you have a high level of turn over in this profession I would question what you are doing wrong as a company. Poor training is on the top of my list for this company.
