    Pros

Good pto once you're there long enough Variance of job duties Great job for someone out of school learning

    Cons

No shift did, or additional pay for working weekends or later hours. Open all holidays. No rotating, not enough staff. expected to work them ALL! Unappreciative management Don't go by "orange book" Understaffed, never enough Patients are a number, not quality health care Constant changes throughout constant buy outs bc they are constantly loosing money due to poor upper management No breaks which is ILLEGAL! No consistency changes every day. Not professional everyone knows your business from management personnel to other colleagues New procedures, new policies. Logs for logs. Outgoing lab takes 4 logs on paper of writing info, even though they spend thousands on EMR SYSTEMS waste money on things not even used such as computers, hard drives, just collecting dust Hires cnas to do a nurses job to save money!!!! Drama, everyone talks about everyone, including management to other colleagues.

    Advice to Management

Realize that YOUR SALARY bonus comes from "the nobody's" who are the people on their feet for hours giving everything they have, to move the patients through, while you're sitting behind a desk, appreciate them, say good morning, acknowledge them and appreciate them, and they will respect you! Don't tell the doctors what to do with their license. It falls on them not you! If you want to treat someone different and provide unacceptable healthcare bc of their insurance, don't accept their insurance and complain about the ZERO reimbursement! High turnover rate bc you provide promises you can't uphold. Complain about Patient time In center, increase your staff! All about the money and FTE's. Can't keep a consistant staff Too many chiefs and not enough Indians!! PRAISE THE ONES WHO WORK HARD ANS PUNISH THE ONES THAT DONT!! Stand back and watch. Follow the cmas around for one day and see what they actually do. You may appreciate them more if you knew their role!!!!!!

    Pros

The trainer was really nice and helpful, but the culture of the floor is in contrast, extremely different.

    Cons

I was hired on as a "Concentra Temp." No agency involved. No benefits. A coworker there harassed me by showing me pornography on his phone. He showed up to work late and drunk. He is still employed here. Managers from other teams insulted me during lunch because I eat foreign food that smells funny. The integrity of this office fails to exemplify their so called "Orange Book Values."

    Advice to Management

You have allowed the integrity, culture, and environment of your office to deteriorate. You turn a blind eye to the issues causing this. Your leadership is broken and you don't even know it. I have no advice to give you. You are beyond help.

    Pros

Love the patients I work with. Very Busy makes the day pass by quick.

    Cons

Not enough money for all the work you do. Upper management only wants to see high numbers and scores, doesn't care about their employees. To many changes every time we have a meeting.

    Advice to Management

Quit playing favorites, treat employees better, find better training standards. Better health insurance options

    Pros

You will learn about different areas of healthcare and interact with national employers. No two days are ever really the same and when you are busy the days fly by.

    Cons

Pay is terrible for physicians and mid-levels comparatively and because they try to get involved in so many different things no one system really works smoothly. Everything tends to be done in a manner where SOP's are created at the last minute by folks who have little in center/clinic experience i.e. it works theory (or sounds good) but not in practice.

    Advice to Management

This place has been around so long that the management knows exactly what they need to do but there is so much getting in the way and so many levels of individuals to go through to make the simplest change that nothing gets done in a timely manner so centers are just left putting out fire after fire and never truly getting ahead of a potential issue.

    Pros

Tons of resources and support to perform the job well. Colleague and patient focused. Bonuses if teams can provide consistent results!

    Cons

Salary with long hours and minimal room for taking PTO.

    Advice to Management

Invest in more efficiently staffed teams to ensure colleagues can take their PTO when wanted
