    management is sometimes overwhelmed, employee turnover, trouble disciplining & enforcing rules

    Pros

    The pros for working for a hotel management company is the discounts provided by the hotel. The company does truly care for their employees

    Cons

    I think the cons is the management running the hotels for the company. They dont handle things as well as they should. When under staffed they really do overworl their workers.

    Advice to Management

    I would say they really need to get a hold on on trying to keep a decent amount of employees. too many come and go so this makes the work extremely difficult for current employees

    Pros

    The ability to make decisions on the spot and not have to run it through management. perks of whatever hotel you work for are the same for you as they are for corporate workers.

    Cons

    Hours can be hard on some people, pay is based on region and not across the board which could be better for some then others.

    Pros

    Everyone that works at this hotel is amazing--going to work felt like being with family. Management was great at giving both positive and negative feedback. This job is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done; the only reason I left was for a career with more income potential.

    None. Great place to work.

    I have been working at Concord Hospitality full-time

    Pros

    The Culture is extremely strong. The upper level management seems to genuinely be approachable and care about people. The company is excellent at what they do.

    Cons

    They have grown fast and in the process have placed more policies and procedures and SOP's that it becomes difficult to really manage and shine in hospitality due to being so preoccupied with all of the reporting, paperwork, and requirements needed. If I were owner, I would want more focus on the stuff that matters most.

    Advice to Management

    Keep listening to your people, keep encouraging, and don't forget where the company came from. Bigger is not always better.

    Really hard to advance in the company when the hotel is managed and not owned

    Advice to Management

    when you have a lay -off from the sale of a managed property. relocating of management would be nice.
