    Pros

Friendly people, located in a great city (Eden Prairie), nice outdoor area for lunch/social hours

    Cons

Unsightly work environment (all cement building, layout leaves for no interaction between coworkers/different teams), very difficult to either move up in your current role or to advance to a different department

    Advice to Management

Make everyone feel like their job is important

    Pros

The culture is one actively built and maintained by the leadership, and they do an excellent job. The company doesn't promise to be anything it's not, and manages to be all that it promises to be. Leadership is passionate. It's a sales-driven enterprise and you should know that on the way in the door. It's also very much a promote-from-within culture, and there are plentiful opportunities for insiders once in the door.

    Cons

Sometimes what is expedient for a sale is not always the best for the long haul. Long-tenured employees (of which there are many) belong to a club that is difficult to join. The product is so complex that it probably needs an overhaul.

    Pros

Company has a good name, salaries paid promptly,

    Cons

Heavy focus on finance, compaby doesn't listen to its employees, salaries are low compared to market rates, lots of micro management

    Advice to Management

listen to the people who are in contact with the field, accept that the model will have to be tweaked outside of the US
allow people some autonomy in their jobs and you will be rewarded

    Pros

The executive leadership team at Concur is the best I have ever experienced. Their positive energy feeds down through the management team. Communication is transparent, and I have always understood that I can (and should) reach out to anyone I need to within the organization to reach both our goals as well as the client's. I love the culture of Concur. It is fast-paced, and ever-changning, so don't bother applying if you can't keep up! We don't sit still. Being a technology leader takes committment, lots of effort, and determination. It's not always easy, but the results are incredibly rewarding!

    Cons

Client Support has challenges with resources. We need SAP to really help us in this area.

    Advice to Management

PLEASE don't let the SAP acquisition change our culture! It is what we all love about Concur.
