    Pros

The org has a great vision. They accomplish a lot for the black youth of America.

    Cons

The are very definitional and very political. Staff are over worked and under paid with very little appreciation from management.

    Advice to Management

Get new ones or appreciate the staff more

    Pros

Excellent place to work if you have an interest in Politics, Political Administration, Community Development, Governemnt Relations and Congressional Affairs.

    Cons

When I worked there in 2006, I found that the salary was not comensurate with the comparable repsonsibilities in similar sectors.

    Advice to Management

Based on my 2006 experience I would suggest that management look at a comprehensive package for employees who see this agency as a place to launch their careers

    Pros

If you are in to the political scene good starting ground

    Cons

You will not meet any politicians unless you are willing to play the office games. Much, much game playing and brown nosing is necessary to move up. Also you should be 35 or younger. They do not appreciate older, experienced employees.

    Advice to Management

Step outside of the box that has enclosed progress there.
