Pros – Some of the immediate leadership are very hands on and will take the time to develop you professionally.

Cons – When there is a negative perception of the department it is the standard practice to remove the Supervisor from the team. This has occured within several departments. Really they need to take a more indepth look at the department and identify the reason issue and not put a band aid on it.

Advice to Senior Management – The environment is too "corporate". I understand you want everything to be equal and follow the policy and procedures for everything but some times it is too much.

Pros – Its a job that has benefits plus pay

Cons – I went through a 3 phase hiring process. I was given a job offer that i took time to think due to the pay rate (under paid). However, i was in the need of a job, so I accepted it. Because i took my time to think about it they retracted their offer. Extremely disappointing. Never knew taking time to think about an offer was so bad.

Advice to Senior Management – Very unethical to offer a job to someone and then retracting for taking the time to think about if the pay rate and position would be a great fit for the employee. Perhaps the company is well known but management makes it look horrible. I do not recommend this company to anyone

Pros – you.... get a paycheck once they figure out how to process your pay at all. a good place to get experience depending on your dept

Cons – i think it took me like 3 weeks after my first pay period for me to get paid. highly unethical practices while waving a banner of ethics. low pay. poor raises. lack of communication between corporate vs. field management. would not recommend anyone that i care about to work there

Cons – Too much favoritism. 80% of middle management is in positions they are not worthy of. Middle management is made up of uneducated, unprofessional and uncaring individuals. Conifer does not lead by example...

Advice to Senior Management – Come down from your glass houses and take a look at your middle management. You should be on the TV show "Undercover Boss" and take to heart what your "peon" workers are doing.

Pros – Medical, Dental,401K benefit are great

Cons – Current employee don't want to train you on the floor- its not there job, no teamwork never have work with negative ladies before very low moral for healthcare workers. When you see a job with 5 opening for the same dept.......run quick ......there is a problem, when the supervisor just got hired, there is a problem, when there is no director for the same department there is a major problem.

Advice to Senior Management – You need to hirer a trainer to trainer a new employee not the current employee who are trying to do there 8-10 hours and go home. Follow thur an pay employee when they work.

Pros – Once you get into the company you are more likely to move around and will be promoted over outisde applicants.

Cons – Staff are difficult to manage when all they want to put in is there 8 hours. Once there is a cancer in your department it is hard to get them out.

Advice to Senior Management – Recognize staff who do a good job. The review process should not be the same for someone who is new vs someone who has completed their 1 year review.

Pros – One of the ONLY pros is getting a paycheck. But you will endure a lot to get that paycheck.

Cons – Having to deal with the inability of the management to Manage! Lack of training. Not a good work environment!

Pros – Conifer will continue to turnover employees because they have no tools in place to review current resources and allocate them appropriately. They are reactive to the economy and hire and layoff in cycles. I quit this job before hitting my second year because the lack of growth opportunities, lack of training and development, and low salary and benefits.

Cons – Conifer overall has a good product and will be successful in growing as a business.

Cons – Career growth opportunities are limited and the compensation is below industry standards

Advice to Senior Management – Make the compensation more aggressive and increase focus on career growth of employees.
