I have been working at ConnectiCare full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

It is small enough to know people and feel that you're working as a team. The senior team leaders know you by name and people are not concerned with titles. The company is growing quickly which offers additional job and growth opportunities. Flex time and working from home is appreciated by many. Low employee turnover.

    Cons

It's a lean work force that does a lot and the quick growth is taxing existing employees. We are playing catch up with technology. Certain departments have had high turnover recently which creates questions. Historically there is not much opportunity for career growth as there weren't a lot of new positions and there is low employee turnover.

    Pros

The culture is one of high integrity, high respect, collaboration, results orientation and caring of fellow employees, our members, brokers and providers ...do the right thing for the right reasons. Great visibility and opportuity to impact the success of the organization due to its smaller size.

    Cons

Smaller company can limit career opportunity. However with this said, great opportunity for learning and contributing across the organization...making a difference.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be careful to roll out new culture initatives with human beings in mind....change is difficult for most.
