    Pros

A good stepping stone this job is.

    Cons

    Pay is not that great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Higher ups need to be more involved with their employees instead of relying on one site lead or representative.

I worked at Consolidated Networks full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Pay and Benefits are great. I loved this job because at the end of the day, I left the office happy that I was able to work with schools and kids from lower income and rural areas of Oklahoma and give them an IT Network infrastructure that was on par with any of the private or affluent schools in this state by using the E-Rate program that gave schools up to a 90% discount depending on how many of the children were on free or assisted lunch programs.

    Cons

Travel was quite extensive cause we have clients all over the state of Oklahoma so putting 300-500 miles a day on your car was not uncommon.

Former Employee - All Talk (Don't Believe A Word)

    I worked at Consolidated Networks

    Pros

    Relatively laid-back working environment.
Reasonable re: technology budget to accomplish your job.
Open to listening to new ideas.
Aggressively pursue new business at times, and very competent when they decide to be.

    Cons

The three partners' idea of "CEO by committee" is a disaster. Decisions take forever, and progress happens either from the bottom-up or by edict at the last minute. The HR situation is a disaster, and professionalism is a real issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make your words mean something. Lead by example, not by wishing in one hand. Business development, or business in general, should be methodical, not "Ready, Fire, Aim."
