    Fortune 500 company- overall decent

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Baltimore, MD

ProsFortune 500, brand recognition, decent salary once you move up the ranks, nice downtown location, management is personable, tuition reimbursement (now it takes three years to forgive(1/3 a year), generous sick leave, average 401k match

ConsDifficult to move up the ranks (when the company was smaller it was a lot easier), feel like a number, not a person, work environment is like a factory floor or sardine can, have to pay for parking, bureaucracy, no recognition for advanced degrees, organization is so large you never know who to go to, office gets so loud you can't hear yourself think.

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide a more comfortable work environment (ex. cubicles, white noise). Currently the offices are set up in rows like a factory floor, no privacy, and extremely loud at times (disruptive). Provide more cross-training opportunities so people have more exposure to different areas and have back up for when they are out of the office.

An amazing experience combined with respect from co-workers.

    Intern (Current Employee) Baltimore, MD

    ProsMany opportunities
    Ability to advance
    Great compensation for good performance
A team atmosphere with respect for each employee

ConsSometimes knowledge is not shared adequately
Interns can be looked upon as a nuisance

Advice to Senior ManagementThe leadership team provides quality feedback, necessary support, and a helping hand in creating work life balance. They are trustworthy and competent. You won't find managers who cannot step in to complete an employees tasks in an emergency or who doesn't know their staff and their areas of responsibility. This management team sets the bar high for other companies.

Excellent company with lots of opportunities

    Sourcing Analyst (Current Employee)

ProsLeadership team is great and very visionary. There are job opportunities across the company and in the utility in Baltimore.

ConsCurrent merger with Exelon provides opportunities as well as challenges. Some people will truly benefit from the opportunities, others will be placed in temporary positions.

Advice to Senior ManagementDrive the synergies and efficiencies that come with the merger. Make the new company the best out of the two legacy companies.
