    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsCompetitive Salary with good management leadership. Since company offers wide range of services and products, it got lot of options and opportunities for folks.

ConsFrom career growth perspective, it might be little slow but all depends on the role and department.

strong company with potential... and weak mgmt to hold it back

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Baltimore, MD

Prosone of the largest company in the industry; ability to move within the company, capable employees.

Consdoes not get rid of bad managers, poor upper level mgmt, old generation, increasingly competitive market. Silo-ed divisions create inability to cross-sell products

Advice to Senior Managementdevelop a plan with employee input for the future of the company and the products.... mgmt is currently trying stale strategies to compete in the retail markets and it's not working.

A privilege working for a fortune 200 company.

    Business Development Manager (Former Employee)
    Dallas, TX

ProsAwesome company. Smart employees. Excellent benefits. Constellation maintains a high level of corporate functionality across many states and provides an extremely professional and respectful environment in which to work.

ConsLots of internal management. A very large company with many communication channels, lines of report, and exceptional amounts of email to filter.

    A cluster

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Lavista, NE

    ProsGood work location and building.

ConsManagement is clueless from top to bottom with every location having far too many chiefs and not enough Indians. I've never worked for a company that likes to pat itself on the back for accomplishing so little as much as this company.

Decisions and processes that should be straightforward are instead a frustrating mess as multiple people have to be involved on every level with no one being an expert in any one thing. This leads to rash and non sensical decisions being made which results in poor customer satisfaction and low morale.

Advice to Senior ManagementLet each office decide what method works best for their customers as they are the local experts not someone thousands of miles away in Baltimore.

    Natural Gas Marketing

    Supply Coordinator (Former Employee)
    Louisville, KY

ProsEnergy Industry facinating. Natural gas is the most volitile commodity on the market. Helping customers avoid market risk is a rewarding job. It is also fun to have access to the credit needed to actually go out an buy nymex contracts for customers.

ConsConstellation is just a mess as seen by the recent stock prices. Hopefully they can turn it around
