Pros
Innovative and aggressive with culture of taking risk
Cons
Some folks are pretty average fostering politics
Advice to Senior Management
Recognize your top performers
Pros
The company is very flexible with your schedule and personal life. The vacation and benefits are better than other companies. For the most part, upper management has an open door policy. There is room for growth if you desire to move to other office locations.
Cons
The company is going through another one of its transitional periods and upper management doesn't seem to have it all put together. The company grew too quickly and unexpectedly. Upper management needs to do a better job of promoting the people who actually do the work. The sick policy has taken a toll for the worse, due to hiring an outside company to handle sick time.
Advice to Senior Management
Please make sure that employee surveys are listened to and help us boost morale during this transitional time. Providing management training to the managers and teach them manager/employee relationship skills. Please be sure the hardworkers are being rewarded and not the people being idle - we have plenty of that!
Pros
Great Benefits, nice people, fast pace environment. Plenty of training opportunities for employees. Generous vacation time. Variety of projects to work on.
Cons
Few women in leadership positions. Too many entry level jobs and no room for advancement. Frequent firings and lay offs.
Advice to Senior Management
The industry changes so fast just make sure you hire people willing to flow with the changes and keep everyone involved in change management activities.
Pros
Energy Industry facinating. Natural gas is the most volitile commodity on the market. Helping customers avoid market risk is a rewarding job. It is also fun to have access to the credit needed to actually go out an buy nymex contracts for customers.
Cons
Constellation is just a mess as seen by the recent stock prices. Hopefully they can turn it around
Advice to Senior Management
