Pros – Pay, Benefits, Location, the People. Very generous vacation after the first year, plus you can purchase additional vacation time.
Cons – The first year you don't get much vacation. It's dependent on when you were hired, and then a 3-month probation, and then it's prorated from that point to the end of the year. Ex.: if you're hired in April, you'd only get 2.5 days for the remainder of that year. Also, they phased out the traditional pension for new hires.
Advice to Senior Management – Base raises on performance, at least in part. Like another reviewer stated, what incentive do I have to do anything but an "Acceptable" job, when I don't get rewarded for it (other than a pat on the back)?
