This is a very flexible position with a lot of perks

    Concierge (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsGet to meet a lot of great people! It is a wonferful interim place to work for if you need flexibility with your schedule...ie actors/students.

ConsVery difficult to advance or get raises (they do not exist). Concierge position, but it's really a sales job.

Advice to Senior ManagementIt would be nice to have a company party of some sorts at the end of the year or bring back bonuses!

If the pay was more employees would stay longer

    Tech Support Analyst (Former Employee)
    Dunwoody, GA

ProsA good place to get your feet wet as far as Tech Support.

ConsSince the pay is less people do less work, the company seems to be falling apart
and the turn over rate is high

Advice to Senior ManagementPay your employees more money and you might be able to keep someone

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Don't Even Think About it

    Concierge/Sales Agent (Former Employee)

ProsCo-workers are nice, fun, and love to talk crap about the company just as much as you.

ConsThe WORST management you could think of, terrible pay, terrible and not flexible hours, sends out schedule at the very last minute, low company moral, no pay raises, no room for advancement, no sympathy for anything.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere's too much to even say. They're running the company into the ground.

    Low morale, bleak advancement

    Customer Service Agent (Former Employee)
    Atlanta, GA

ProsGood place to start an IT/helpdesk career, some good people to learn from, close to Perimeter, decent access from metro Atlanta.

ConsVery low starting wage, very little room for advancement, management seems to be fine with status quo, no work/life balance.

Advice to Senior ManagementSolicit and act upon employee feedback, raise wages, make the place a joy to go to work. People are leaving in droves and no one seems to care enough to stem the attrition.

    Overworked

    Technical Analyst (Current Employee)
    Dunwoody, GA

ProsGood entry Level job if u have no tech experience.

    Conssame pay no raises ever

Advice to Senior ManagementPay your people what they deserve 11$ hr is not enough for Technical support... That pay is for a customer service job or something like that. To reduce the High turnover rate this company should over better pay for employees that job is a little more complicatred then telling a customer where the power button is.

The most unorganized place to work on the planet. HORRIBLE!!!

    Ticket Manager (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsI cant think of any,not one.

ConsNo room for advancement, disorganized and very low salary scale and no raises are ever given. Expect your pay check ,Vacation days and sick days to come up short on a frequent basis.

Advice to Senior ManagementFire yourselves and get some other outside professionals to run the company, someone that treats employees with dignity and respect.

    No one seems to care

    Call Center Agent (Former Employee)
    Atlanta, GA

ProsGood place to start a call center career,

ConsPoor pay, little flexibility, poor training, lottery-style shift bids, lackadaisical management, misleading advertising, expensive benefits package, little to no advancement paths.

    Very challenging

    Senior Consultant (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsFlexible working hours, some good projects going on.

ConsNo team work spirit and very big communication issues, no development plans.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease look how you can develop the team work spirit in your teams.

CGS is a deeply flawed call center, with a decent environment, 4+ year pay freeze and bottom of the barrel organization.

    IT Help Desk (Current Employee)
    Tampa, FL

ProsDepending on which department you get assigned to, the working environment is not bad, and you are given a fair amount of freedom in doing your job. Performance reviews are strictly by metrics, which is standard enough, but promotions are rare, job opportunities are frequently not posted internally and pay is well below even the lowest market expectations (turnover due to lack of pay is extremely high).

Performance reviews are strictly by metrics, which is standard enough, but promotions are rare, job opportunities are frequently not posted internally and pay is well below even the lowest market expectations (turnover due to lack of pay is extremely high).

Advice to Senior ManagementRemove the pay freeze. If there is a budget crisis, even small raises over time to the best employees would go a long way toward removing morale. CGS's own upper management has threatened in the past that CGS Tampa won't stay around unless business improves, but the answer to that isn't to destroy morale and lose what quality people you have.

No chance at advancement, recognition, reviews or raises.

    Concierge (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsFree show tickets. Free meals. Free local attractions.

ConsLong hours mostly on your feet (10-14 hrs). No reviews, pay raises or commission. Commission from sales goes to pay your hourly rate not as a bonus. Terrible health insurance. Inept Senior Management. Lots of ass kissing to try and get ahead and then you still get no where. Took away lots of perks.

Advice to Senior ManagementOffer commission to motivate your team. Give feedback and reviews and raises.
